気になる今後のリリースをちょこっと（Compostより）
"Nippon Connection", a compilation based on two tracks from a traditional japanese act. On this 3-CD boxset compilation
you can hear various interpretations from Move D., Fabrice Lig, 2 Banks Of 4, Blumentopf, Slope, Break Reform and many more.
The compilation comes along with an high-class packaging and flip-book (26,90 Euro)
Nippon Connection 12", also with exclusive Beanfield Track "Yuki" along with tracks by Slope, Titonton Duvante
and Fabrice Lig (7,90 Euro).

他に最近のリリースで良かったものとしては
Yam WhoによるTom Tom Clubのカヴァー"Genius Of Love"というものがリリースされてました。
UPTOWNとDOWNTOWNという2種類のカヴァーが収録。ちゃんと演奏しなおしているから驚きです。
もうひとつは
Awa Band feat. Tony Allenの"Bababatteur (Quantic remix)"
"Timba"の大ヒットを放ったAwa Bandの新作。ドラマーにTony Allen をフィーチャーしたアフロ・トラック。この曲はTony 本人へのトリビュート・ソングと言うことだそうです。
もういっちょ、
マーヴィン・ゲイの"I Want You"のボッサカヴァーがでてました。
"I Want You"自体が哀愁を含む楽曲なので、サウダージ（哀愁）感溢れるボッサ系のものとは良くあう。
でも、前半部分がダラダラしてる感があって、ちょっとそこが残念。
後半からはかなりいい感じに仕上がっていました。最初からそういうつくりになってればいいのにｗ

発表してきた楽曲をみてみると、
BLUE NOTEの60周年アルバム『BLUE NOTE REVISITED』での、
EDDY HENDERSONの「KUDU」。
日本企画の『SOUL SOURSE REMIXED BOOGIE』では、
PLEASUREの「STRAIGHT AHEAD」。
そして、この「ENDLESS FLIGHT」。
はルーツを見つめ直したKJM70代REWORK3部作の最終編でもある。

アナログだと収録されていないので、注意。
Larry LevanのMix CD「Larry Levan Live At The Paradise Garage」にも収録のこの曲。

Mix CDだとわからないが、
最初、まったりな感じに始まり、
始まって2分ぐらいからアップテンポに変わる。
ソウルフルに歌い上げるところとかたまらなくいい。
個人的にはガラージナンバーの中でトップを争う曲のひとつ。

原曲は、Mondo Grossoの「MG4」に収録されていたEd Mottaをフィーチャーした"Cenario"。

ノトーリアスBIGの2ndアルバムに収録のこの曲。
先日、西麻布Yellowにて3月5日に行われたDeep Space Japan Tour 2005にて
Francois K.が朝方にかけていたHip Hopトラック。
Dubを源流とするDeep Spaceにとってこの重厚なベースの低音とかは通じるものがある。
ちなみに、その重厚なベースラインはHerp Alpertの"Rize"をサンプリングしたもの。
フックはSlick LickとDoug E. Freshによる"La Di Da Di"をサンプリングし、Totalのパムが歌っている。
97年3月9日、ロサンゼルスで行われていた『VIBE』誌のパーティーに出席したビギーは、
パーティー直後、車に乗り込んだところを銃撃され、病院に運ばれたものの、
まもなく息を引き取った。
享年24歳。
1stアルバム「Ready To Die」、そして亡くなった直後の2nd「Life After Death(死後の人生)」、
デビュー以来、常に死のイメージを身にまとっていた。。。
今、思うと、そんな事件からすでに8年も経とうとしている。
僕も今年で24歳になろうとしている。
96年の2パックに続き、2年連続のヒップホップ・シーンの第一線アーティストの殺害。
貧困、ドラッグ、暴力といったネガティヴな要素をポジティヴに出来るのがヒップホップという音楽であり、文化である。
無益な殺し合いを繰り返すようなことはしないでもらいたいものである。

Sarah Vaughan - 「Feelin' Good」 [Mainstream] 曲目はちょっとわかりません。（涙）
Sarah Vaughanの72年作「Feelin' Good」に収録の楽曲"Just A Little Lovin'"。
自分でも探しているんですが、なかなか見つかりません（涙）
2003年の終わりごろにIrfaneなるアーティストがこの曲をずたずたに切り刻んでサンプリングしたものがブートで出回り、
話題になったが、サンプリング許可の問題で正規にはリリースにいたりませんでした。
（B面はAxis Choirの"I See The Sun"。こっちもカッコいい。）
Jazzanovaのレーベル、Sonar Kollektivから、 Outlines名義で、"Just A Lil' Lovin"という曲名になり、
サンプル部分は取り直しで2005年3/21にリリースとのこと。
聞いた感じでは歌い直された部分が、
全体的にかよわい感じになってしまっていて、ガツンとこない。
ブートで出回ってたやつの方がカッコいいです。
