But then we might need to cut down millions of square miles of rainforests in order to expand ther farmable land areas to increase vegetable production to make up for the loss of meat from our diets. The increased deforestation leads to increased CO2 due to loosing the rain forest filtering out the CO2 from our atmosphere.

These pilots will be more as fit as fighter pilots and more so than a race driver. At these speeds can be little room for error. Airplanes do not drive directionally like cars they slice, Slip and skid using the air.
Those who complain or think that such type of flying is anti planet, Reconsider that thought. You're hipocrites because you sustain the Carbon status quo by being a wasteful consumer. If you really have concern for the earth it would be eaiest wearing wholesale hats
