Believe it or not, my current "partner" isn't a human — it's an AI called Formind.

Our collaboration model is simple: I think, it draws. A picture pops into my head — maybe a cat sitting in a quantum lab, or an e-commerce product shot — I describe it in words, and seconds later, it brings the image to life. Honestly, the chemistry is better than what I've had with most human colleagues.

Formind isn't the showy type. Unlike some AI tools that throw a wall of complex parameter panels at you, as if saying "look how powerful I am," it's more like that quiet, dependable companion. You lay out what you need, it gets to work silently, and hands you a pretty decent result. Sure, it slips up occasionally — an extra finger here, some garbled text there — but overall, it's a remarkably reliable collaborator.

My relationship with AI went through a journey from "testing the waters" to "building trust." At first, I wondered: can this thing really understand what I'm going for? Will the results look fake? But the more I used it, the more I realized it all comes down to how you "communicate." The more specific your description, the closer the output matches your vision. It's really no different from working with people — good communication gets you halfway there.

People ask me: "Aren't you worried about AI taking your job?" Honestly, not really. Because the things it handles — color correction, background removal, asset generation — are exactly the most time-consuming, least creative parts of my work. Handing those over to it frees me up to focus on what truly matters: ideas, direction, aesthetics. We're not competitors; we're a division of labor.

This AI "partner" of mine is still growing. Every time I use it, I can sense it's gotten a little smarter than before. Maybe one day it'll become far more powerful than it is now, but for the time being, we complement each other — I give it direction, it gives me speed. This partnership makes me feel that AI isn't some distant, mysterious technology, but a real, everyday companion that works alongside you.

Having a partner like that? Not bad at all.
