Metal Detector 3D Ground Scanner
The metal detector 3d ground scanner combines the functionality of a professional metal detector and a 3D underground imaging system. It provides professional treasure hunters, prospectors, archaeologists, gold seekers and ground surveyors a comfortable work experience with easy to use operating modes and different graphical display options.
The device uses a modern multilingual device software with a smooth and visual experience in choosing and adjusting all detection settings and options. The user interface is available in more than 12 languages and can be easily customized to match the preferences of individual users.
During the scanning process all measured data are streamed on the screen in real time. The data is presented in 2D grid consisting of rows and columns of cells with each cell being represented by 4 sub-cells based on the type of detected target. The current X and Y value are presented on the screen in specific colors depending on the scan line direction, while each scan point is marked with a red icon that indicates its presence on the ground surface.
The operator can choose a manual or an automatic mode for recording of measurement points during the scanning process. In case of manual mode the operator records scan points manually using a dedicated button on the device. The automatic mode does not require any additional action from the operator besides walking the scan line.
In both operating modes the device notifies the detection of a buried object or structure in the form of audio alerts. The user can select one of the 3 distinct metal discrimination alert sounds, which help him to better understand and identify what he is finding under the ground. The device also offers a possibility to clean the ground of ferrous contamination before conducting a search for precious non-ferrous metals like gold or silver.
The tunnel scanner functionality is intended to locate voids in the ground soil like tunnels, caves, chambers, shelters and tombs. This operating mode can only be used in conjunction with the tunnel sensor.
A specialized algorithm is used for processing of the measurement data to detect changes in the ground soil and determining their location. The detected changes are then compared with the simulated results of the tunnel scanner. This helps the operator to quickly identify areas of interest in the scanned area and focus his attention on those particular locations.
The GR-3 PLUS metal detector incorporates an advanced digital signal processing technology, which improves the image quality in conditions of bad weather and enables more accurate determination of the depth of the target. The device also features a unique multi-frequency technology, which allows for improved performance when searching in highly mineralized and salty ground soils. It also includes a new patented ground scanning technology and a variety of other advanced functions. The control unit of the GR-3 PLUS is equipped with an integrated touch-screen, automatic brightness control and different graphical layouts for easy use in various operating modes.
