ハワイ Day 3b - Polynesian Cultural Center

It's fun learning about the life of different Pacific Islanders.
There are so many activities that you can try at the PCC,
you should probably spend at least 3 hours there if you want to try them all.
We were a little bit short in time,
so only were able to do a couple of the activities.

Tried to start a fire with wooden sticks,
でもダメだった~!! (>_<)
Also, we learned to play the ukulele (^-^),
make fishies with a leaf,
and got a stamp tattoo (*^^*)

We had a Samoan Luau for dinner.
An evening filled with Samoan songs and dances,
which made the dinner even better (^-^)b

After the early dinner,
we also watched the evening show,
"Ha: Breath of Life."
The performers are amazing! d(^-^)b
However, the show might be a little too long for little kids,
since it lasted for 1 1/2 hour.

Driving back to Wincy's place took about an hour.
By the time we got home,
both Phyllis and I were exhausted!
Had a long yet super fun day~ (*^-^*)

ハワイDay 3a - North Shore

We headed up to North Shore today.
Spent the morning walking around and chilling at Haleiwa Ali'i Beach(^-^)
The water was super clear,
and we can see little fish swimming in it.


Then we went to one of the food trucks, Macky's, for lunch.
Phyllis ordered the garlic shrimp,
and I had the lemon shrimp.
Both were DELICIOUS～!!(*≧∀≦*)

We also shopped for a little along the Kamehameha Hwy, and
we each bought a rash guard for our surf lesson tomorrow(^-^)v

After that we went to the famous Matsumoto shave ice for dessert.
Luckily the line wasn't that long.
I like the yuzu flavor the best,
very refreshing(*^^*)
Also, the straw beach mats there are by far the cheapest that I have seen, so we each got one for the following day.

ハワイ Day 2 - Dole Plantation

We were planning to go to Pearl Harbor,
but I woke up with a headache(>_<)
so we decided to sleep in.

We had brunch at Wincy's recommendation,
The Original Pancake House.
A little disappointed though(´・c_・`)
the pancakes weren't that special.
I like the crepe better(^_^)

After that, we drove to Dole Plantation.

Phyllis and I took the train ride
around the pineapple field.
The scenery during the train ride was beautiful!d=(^o^)=b


After that we headed over to the maze.
LOVE IT～!!＼(^-^)／
Even with a map,
it still took us an hour to find all 8 stations.
It would probably take longer if I led the way.

We ended our day with a Dole Whip and a Dole Whip float.
Best treats in such a hot summer day(*^-^*)

ハワイに着いた～ ＼(^o^)／

Watched 3 movies during the flight,
1. Divergent - makes me wanna read the book now
2. 六福喜事 - 好無聊， but it's a good laugh
3. 神様のカルテ - 翔くんはかっこいい～

After getting our rental car,
we dropped off our luggage at Wincy's
and headed straight for a late dinner.

We went to a 居酒屋 called 大漁.
Ordered タコワサ、大根ポン酢サラダ、
イカ丸焼きと牛肉と野菜のせいろ蒸し d=(^o^)=b
Also had honey toast for dessert.
超満足～! (^ー^)

☆GERMANY ヘ(≧▽≦ヘ)♪☆

I have been waiting for this for 24 years!
They finally did it! o(^-^o)(o^-^)o
Can't really put my emotions into words,
it has been a couple hours after the game now,
but I still can't calm myself down.

I was so glad that Loew put Gotze in today,
missed him in the Brazil game.
And he did his job!
