Last spring, a few months before his office publicly acknowledged that the New Jersey Democrat was facing a new federal investigation, the deal was sold.
According to the senator's annual public disclosure, Nadine Aslanian, 56, sold gold between April 7, 2022 and June 16, 2022. It is equivalent to 13 pounds of pure gold.
This transaction marks a significant financial turning point for Arslanian, who reportedly struggled financially and even faced home foreclosures before marrying Menendez in 2020.
