Tron Legacy? More like Troll Legacy! and..

... Today marks the day Beatrice, Diane, Gwen, Nuh, Xander and I flew to Japan.

To think one year ago, we were turning crazy over this trip, stressing over money, logistics, etc.
On 17th Dec at 11PM, we were running to the airport.
On 18th Dec at 8AM, we reached Narita and ran outside for some winter lovin'

For me, it started out great, but later it seems that I was starting to take the beautiful weather and food for granted and wanted laksa so much.
Now? I can tell you one thing, I can totally live in a world with no laksa and chilli.

JUST GIVE ALL THESE BACK TO MEH!

AND OF COURSE LAST BUT NOT LEAST, the streets of Takeshita doori in Harajuku which I have to walk past every day from my apartment to get to Harajuku Station.

Haha, actually I wasn't that sad about not being able to return to Japan this year, it all started with Gwen sending me photos of our apartment. HAHAHA. So I thought, this could be my theme for this entry LOL.

On a happier note, we went to watch Tron Legacy today.

To be very frank, this story has absolutely no plot at all, so Walt Disney thought they could flash us bright LED lights with dark backgrounds with spiffy CG effects? No way man, we are on to you. HAHAHA! Then again, I thought the soundtrack was really cool. 80s eurobeat/electropop rocks, rockin' the synthesizer there man!

To conclude everything, the movie is one major troll.
So unless there is really nothing to watch, don't ever watch this.

Nostalgia

I bet all of us at least had one account on this darn game.

Battledome?

Ah, those were the days. So I went to revive my account a few days ago and went to read up on the changes,
I can simply say that it has changed a lot. From pure mindless cloning accounts to get things to sell to something that is slightly more challenging. Now they encourage the 'neopians' to play games with Games Master Challenge and plots get more complex.

Then again, all thanks to the darn plot, I cannot visit Faerieland and do quests. All because they have turned into stone. RARRRRRRRRRRRRR. Dammit, bad time for comebacks.

But I have to say, I had fun and I am sure everyone did.



I don't think I will ever sell my account.
Because I still want to see this shield progress.

And remind me that I am old.

My life till now..

I realize that I have been typing such titles to conclude my life because I have been only updating this once a month. HAHAHA. σ(^_^;)

Okay so basically 3 parts!

1. School/Training, whatever.



This course is going to end in 2 weeks and right now we are presenting our work on one of the modules.
So far the highlight of this module would be the excursion. Haha.

So with a frap, we are ready to go~

It really has been a while since I went to the National Museum, the Singapore history portion has changed a LOT! HAHAHA. No more boring tour guides, just you, this special machine and a pair of audio technica headphones!

So what you do is to go to the exhibit, key in the number that is displayed on the floor and the narrator will narrate regarding the exhibit and where to go next~

And also, they have 2 routes, the factual route and the personal route.
Since I know all the facts already, I shall try out the personal route~

This exhibit below really left an impression on me:



It is a letter to a Japanese courtesan living in Singapore, from her Japanese customer also living in Singapore.

2. AFA X

As usual, met my friends and have fun.

Have to admit, this year wasn't that impressive.
And it is not only the cosplayers, but the photogs too.

Now that everyone and their dog owns a DSLR, there are some who think that photos become magically good if they use the DSLR. It is never the man, but the machine...

Not.

Disclaimer: Not that I am being mean, I am just being very honest. But please, feel free to feel butthurt about my comments. I WELCOME YOU.
Not that I get a lot of photos taken or being famous per say, but this is for those who got badly taken photos.

3. HARRY POTTER OMG OMG

FINALLY, IT HAS COME TO AN END. (okay not really, we have part 2 but you get what I mean)
Oh man, I will never forget what a huge impact it made when it first released when I was in primary 6.
The Harry Potter series grew up with me, and I am sure everyone else too.

And of course along with all the Japanese fanart and fanfictions. HAHAHHAHAHHAHH

So I went with Jun Hui to watch it yesterday~ (￣▽+￣*)

Oh you Malfoys have turned into cowards, but you guys still look so good. HURHUR.

So, we went eating after that... and we went to...



I am glad that I found another place with nice ramen that can delude me that I am in Japan enjoying a bowl of this soupful delight. : D



This is their Akamaru Ramen with Kakuni, Nitamago (Flavored boiled egg) not included. If you do want their boiled eggs, which is skillfully cooked that the yolk is moist and has a salty taste, it is another $2. Really good stuff <3

So of course, I have to introduce her to the way to Heaven...
By heaven, I would mean Heaven's Loft at Orchard Central. Hahaha.



We all had the Chocolate Sampler with tea and the delusion that we have Sebastian by our side. HAHAHA.

With that I shall end my blog post...

Suddenly, I am back in school. I remembered how much I hated to go NTU because it is just so far...
