My mum introduced me to rock music. She loved listening to rock bands, when I was a kid. Whenever she picked me up from the school, she listened to rock bands. Her favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, Rush, Deep Purple, Genesis and Queen. She also likes to listen to old-fashioned rock bands from the 90s.

Besides my mum, my uncles listen to various bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Kiss etc. These bands are really cool and they are legends. I continue to listen to these bands nowadays. They have influenced my musical preferences.
As far as I remember, the first album I ever bought as a kid was Fresh Meat by Arkarna. I was in elementary school when my mum bought me this record. Then I started listening to other bands like Blur, Gorillaz, The Cranberries, Radiohead,Placebo, Oasis, Incubus, etc.

Never will be, but on a mainstream/ popular music scale, maybe yes
What we have here now is that rap, hip hop, and pop stars are the new “rock stars”. They get all the attention. I dunno know why...
