Was a busy 3 or so weeks exploring.

After Okinawa, we travelled to Osaka as a base and travelled by bullet train to close by cities for a day trip....

White strawberries, never seen them or eaten them till now, gosh they are expensive

Then moved onto Tokyo, stayed here for the rest of the trip.. skytree

Hired a car and did a day trip to Hakone and visited the museums

Flew the night before and stayed a Narita hotel

Once we arrived, we collected our car hire and drove to the hotel, walked around Kokusai Dori and it was time for dinner. Had some local cuisines...

They called this sea grapes.. tastes salty

Heaps of driving... I have to say the speed limit is a lot slower here on the road than at home.
The following day I returned from the rock, I was back at the airport bright and early..
Had my usual muffin and tea coz I know I'll end up falling asleep when I get on the plane

Dinner was at a Japanese restaurant, they had a special of seafood pie

After 3 days it was Friday and back home in Sydney. Friday night dinner at a Korean bbq place we haven't been too! Gosh they gave us the wrong set! Only realised it when the bill came. Need to pay attention next time.



This place was 3hrs drive from Yulara which is where the resort is.

We didn't do the whole rim walk so didn't walk down to the Garden of Eden, but the guys below did. You could see the water holes, I'm sure it was much cooler than where we were.
