Thespakusatsu's second home game of the season.

It was freezing cold due to the cold wave...

Snow flurries turned into actual snow.

It was hard to believe how warm it was last week.

Our opponents were Tochigi City.

This season, Tochigi City was promoted from the JFL to J3,

making them the second club from Tochigi Prefecture to join the J.

Former Thespakusatsu players Ken Tokura, Kunitmo Suzuki, and Yuki Okaniwa

 are on their roster.

Today, Ken Tokura started, and Kunitomo Suzuki was on the bench. Takaya Inui is from Gunma and is the younger brother of former Thespakusatsu player Daichi Inui.

In the strong wind, Thespakusatsu took the upwind side

and Tochigi City took the downwind side in the first half.

Thespakusatsu took the initiative, but even against the wind,

City attacked into Thespakusatsu's territory.

Thespakusatsu attacked with a combination of short passes

and long balls. In the 24th minute,

Shota Aoki pushed in a ball that the goalkeeper had punched away

from a corner kick, scoring the first GOAL!

Thespakusatsu's first goal of the season and Shota Aoki's first goal since his return.

Shota Aoki is truly amazing.

In the first half's additional time, Atsuki Yamanaka crossed

a long feed forward, and Yasufumi Nishimura headed it in

for the second goal.

(He received the "Bomber Head" nickname from Yuji Nakazawa on Saturday Night J.)

 His first goal since transferring!

In the second half, with Thespakusatsu against the wind

and City with the wind, City increased their attacks into Thespakusatsu's territory.

We suppressed their shots on goal with focused defense.

Perhaps due to the headwind, we struggled to control the ball

and couldn't connect passes.

Result:

Thespakusatsu won 2-0!

Let's sing the "Kusatsu Bushi" for many victories this season.

Hopefully, for all home games.

Tochigi City supporters, thank you for coming. Please have a safe trip home.

"Yesterday, marked the start of the J2 and J3 leagues.

Thespakusatsu Gunma is competing in J3 this season,

and they had their home opener today against FC Ryukyu.

FC Ryukyu has been a challenging opponent for Thespakusatsu in previous J3 and J2 matchups.

With manager Okita Masaru instilling an attacking mindset,

it was interesting to see how the team would perform.

The formation appeared to be a 1-top, 2-shadows,

and a 3-back system – not a defensive 3-back,

but an attacking one.

While it was expected that they would focus on connecting passes,

they effectively utilized both short passes and long balls,

creating a fairly aggressive offensive while maintaining solid defense.

The team's coordination was also impressive.

If they're already playing this well before reaching their peak,

the future looks promising!

Despite their efforts, they were unable to score,

with FC Ryukyu's goalkeeper, Hisaya Sato, putting up a strong defense.

The match ended in a scoreless draw,

but Thespakusatsu earned a valuable point.

To ensure that everyone is smiling at the end of the season,

we will continue to support the team with all our might!

A big thank you to the FC Ryukyu supporters for coming to the game.

We hope you have a safe trip home.

I went to Nagano prefecture with my parents today.

I checked weather by live cameras yesterday.

There were snowing.

Then I changed snow tires.

However, there were a little snow.Lol
