Mom and I went to see a KABUKI play!!!

KABUKI (歌舞伎) is a Japanese classical stage art.

It is said to have originated in the 17th century.

The meaning of KABUKI ”歌舞伎” is

KA(歌)・・・Sing

BU(舞)・・・Dance

KI(伎)・・・Skill

(now, you know why it's called "きらきらThe art of singing and dancingきらきら"!)

Before the play, we had lunchナイフとフォーク.

目Look!! KABUKI styled chopsticks割り箸!!

(Did you know that the red make up is normally used for heros?)

In KABUKI make up, they use 4 colors,

White, red, brown, and blue.

They use specific colors for different types of charactors,

so audience can tell、

"ひらめき電球Hey, that's a bad guy!!" or

"ひらめき電球Oh, his make up is blue, so he must be a ghost!!"

...something like thatべーっだ!.

Some people think KABUKI is complicated叫び,

but actually it's きらきらsimpleきらきら and きらきらinterestingきらきら!!

It was my first time to see a KABUKI play,

and...

I LOVED IT!!

I was so amazedええ!! that people could do such cool expressions!!

The actors use their whole body (even their eye balls目!!)

to express themselves.

That is real "ACTINGカチンコ"!!

and the costumes(kimono着物),

oh myメロメロ,

きらきらきらきらSO AMAZING!!きらきらきらきら

Those kabuki costumes are really heavy,

and the actors wear really high heeled shoes,

but!!

ハッ②they move dynamically!!ハッ

It's so ARTISTICきらきら!!

(It feels so good to watch them move, you know!!)

I enjoyed it!!

It was BRAVOOooo!!ハート
