Title: うたの☆プリンスさまっ♪MUSIC
Company: Brocolli
Release Date: November 24, 2011
Platform: PSP
Official Site: http://www.utapri.com/game/music/
Ever since I ragequit and almost ragequit on Elite Beat Agents and Moero! Nekketsu (the Ouendan sequels), I've been snooping around to find a good rhythm game for PSP. I read on Hinano's blog about Utapri Music and decided to try this one. What more can you ask for when you can play with good music plus bishies on the side. (〃∇〃)
I haven't played any Utapri before and have just watched the anime (never finishes it though) and listened to some of its CD so I thought I could get through the songs without having too much problem. I have been warned to Orion de SHOUT OUT (thanks to Hinano's post) but then most of Natsuki and Sho's songs are tough (eyes Otokogi Zenkai, Jet Coaster among others)! Oh but Tokiya's song are kinda tough too. It's just that it didn't matter to me if I'll have to play it again and again. ♥ ♥ ♥ /shot
The system is quite easy to follow. The menu is written in English so even if you cannot understand Japanese you'll be fine. You'll have, I think, 7 songs at first corresponding to each guy in the original game. Each song is divided in Easy, Hard, and Pro part. There are 3 levels each part. Once you get an A or S on a song you'll gain a ♥. Every time you gain A or S score, the guys will be deredere towards you. But if you get D, C, or B, prepare for their words (especially Satsuki lol). If you complete all 3 ♥s, you will be able to unlock some scenes with the guy talking to you, as well as unlocking the next song of the guy. When you reach Pro and managed to get an A or S, you'll have the scene with the guys AND a book on the Memories section. If it's just B (which is mostly what I got on Pro xD;;), you'll still get the Memories porting but not the cutscene.
You can also buy clothes for the guys such as 2 versions of their uniform, their swimwear (btw, I noticed that Tokiya have a unique one since most of the guys are topless (〃∇〃)) etc. You can only see the upper part of the body though. Other than that, you can also shop for designs and effects so you can change the look when you play.
THIS IS A MUST PLAY! I couldn't stress it enough. haha! I really enjoyed playing this even if my right hand hurts every time I play this game (imagine pressing 4 buttons at the same time >_>). But this is so addicting, it took me all my self-control to rest for a while or go back to the main game that I am playing lol. It also has a good selection of songs. My favorite will be Mirai Chizu, Maji Love 1000% and all of Tokiya's songs (Mamoru's singing voice о(ж>▽<)y ☆). I'm just a little disappointed that they did not include Orpheus, but I guess that would be unfair to other guys (and it's not Tokiya's song right? :O). I look forward in playing other Utapri games! о(ж>▽<)y ☆

Title: Bi no Isu
Mangaka: Ike Reibun
Genre/s: Yaoi, Romance
Publisher: Libre Shupan
Serialized in: b-Boy Phoenix
Volume/s: 1
Synopsis:
War between Yakuza families, fight over territories, and violence around them, how can Kabu and Nirasawa's relationship survive these difficult circumstances?
In order to find out who betrayed their group to another group, Kabu tortures his underling by using S&M materials. His underlings, Nirasawa, seems to be more than just a follower of Kabu. Moreover, he looks like he is enjoying the S&M play that they are doing to him.
While it may looked like it will feature more of yakuza conflicts and some more background story, the plot focuses more on the internal conflict of Kabu's emotions. Most of the dialogues focus more on his thoughts which surprised me since usually the point of view of the story is on the uke. With only 3 chapters for the entire story story, there are some parts that are confusing. It could have expanded more. A little additional backstory about the two and other information about the yakuza could have been added; although the latter part might be omitted purposedly for they won't be making this as a long series.
The couple in this one is the epitome of doS & doM character. The seme, Kabu, have the habit of punching or kicking or whatever rough thing to do (be it on normal basis or on smexy scenes) on Nirasawa. This is refreshing because he doesn't go softie to his uke. And he knows that he is a prick so he cannot fathom why would Nirasawa love him. This frustration leads to his lashing all his mixed feelings to his underling. On the other hand, Nirasawa doesn't mind even he get killed by Kabu as long as his body is of any use for Kabu. He is the pretty boy type, the average uke, you know, meek and obedient towards his seme. However, he is quite a kick-ass character alone. Or maybe that's the power of love? ( ´艸`)
There is an extra chapter featuring the 2 of them having their quality line together. They still can't get used to being lovey-dovey, resulting to an awkward exchange of lines. Something that made me giggle. Like, they have become the 'baka couple'. It's cute. Two well-built guys stumbling to say cheesy cliche lines? (✧✧)/
Two more one-shots are included in this book. The first one is about childhood friends. Thanks to his friend, Fuyu, Emiri is now impotent and with a small junior. He decided to seek medical advice with this problem. To his surprise, the very cause of his dilemma is in front of him and says he can cure Emiri's problem.
You can just skip this story if you cannot stand rape even though it is shown briefly in the story. This is the I-like-you-so-I-rape-you type. This is pretty amusing to read mostly because of Emiri's clumsy stupidity. But that's just it. It is a fast read, no unnecessary drama or other sappy elements (I can feel that Fuyu will head to being an emo).
The next one is about a past love who under some circumstances gets to work with him again. So they held hands before on a drinking party and does the same thing when they met again. Insert some hot scenes, then some more lovey-dovey scenes afterwards.
You see, I'm not even that enthusiastic to give a summary in this one-shot even I, am confused on what is happening at the start of story. All that is clear is they have this sort of unspoken understanding but it is also quite apparent that the uke have this unrequited love ever since they met in the university.
It's such a waste that the whole story just go down the drain when it's supposed to have a promising storyline. The good things that I find worth mentioning are the hot smexy scenes of the two (but even that is also strained to only 2 pages, I think) and my favorite, the indirect confession at the end. If memory serves, I recall mentioning that it would be better if there's some sort of confession lines for couples. However, in this one, it is like a subtle hint of they're feelings; making both the ending and the almost confession leaves you with the 'd'awww' feeling.
The art is pretty and clean. The lines are drawn heavily, giving the characters a distinct and expressive faces. This is the redeeming factor of the entire book.
I'm 50/50 in recommending Bi no Isu. While I like the characters and the art, I am not contented with the story. Each story has a promising plot but lacked in execution and so it isn't that satisfying. But then, the manga is drawn beautifully, I may look forward on reading the other works of this mangaka.

Title: Machi de Uwasa no Hakushaku-sama
Released Date: June 1, 2010
Platform: PC
Number of stills: 19
Number of endings: 16
Official Site: http://erfolg.main.jp/muh/index.html
Synopsis:
After saving her when she got lost in the forest, Siena showed her gratitude to her savior by working diligently as the maidservant. With her new life, Siena will discover different things about her three housemates...even their darkest secrets.
I have finally managed to finish this game.
Initially lured by the art, I came to love the story as well. Not bad for a free game. ≧(´▽`)≦ Machi de Uwasa no Hakushaku-sama is a dark story and some may find some scenes rather creepy. However, I find this the strongest point of the game. The story is nowhere grand. It is rather pretty straight-forward and simple yet it never ceased to pique my interest whenever they revealed something. Even if its theme is fantasy, you'll see its resemblance to real-life situations. For instance, if you choose option A this will be the ending. However, if you choose the other option the ending also changes. That's how big the impact of a seemingly trivial answer to the story, much like what happens in reality. The other options and endings are like showing the "what ifs" that you have in mind.

I was only after the Earl, Waltred, when I started this game but Dalim was adorable enough, making it impossible not to like him. This mute butler has been working for the Earl for who-knows-how-long (it may have been revealed in the game and I've just missed it ^^;;). He is gentle and ever smiling that Siena finds it easy to talk to him. Dalim is dedicated to his work which is evident by his never-failing care to the entire estate. Apparently, his care also extends to Siena. He likes patting her head while smiling and lovingly looking at her (or his eyes are just expressive xD)
. There is more than meets the eye with this guy, though. That, you should look forward to in his ending.
Next is the guy from the box, Jurij. Let me say this, I dislike this guy :/. I mean, everything about him is weird, ranging from where Siena first find him, to his real age and connection to the rest of the household, and to his so-called 'experiments'. He is good in medicine and often asks Siena to be his test subject. So I'm really indifferent with this guy and it goes stronger when I realized that he is the flippant-looking-yet-emo-outside type of character ( ̄っ ̄). It does not help that he only blushed for, like, 2 times during his entire route. Meh. Moving on to the Earl...

The tsudere Earl~! o(〃^▽^〃)o
Out of 16 endings, most of it is on his route. He also have 3 endings: romance, gag, and dark. Obviously, the main guy of the story. Waltred is the one who saved Siena from the forest. He appears serious and grumpy but he is actually a tsundere! ≧(´▽`)≦ On his 3 routes, Waltred shows a different side of him. Not only him, but Siena as well as she changes personality in each route.
Romance Route:
This has most of the drama of the story. This is where his tsundere-ness shows the most lol. He is sooo cute when he blushes~!

Here Siena is in her usual self: optimistic, naive, and meek. <-- not really her likeable self.
Gag Route:
My fave route! (*゜▽゜ノノ゛☆ Siena trolls him a lot since he believes her words easily. He falls into tricks without breaking a sweat. Thus, he is the usual victim of Jurij and Siena's pranks. He's like a cute, grumpy kid when he realized he's being trolled.
Siena is also quite scary in this route. She isn't afraid to tell whatever she is thinking, even taming the pet wolf when it entered the mansion uninvited. I loved seeing the terrified faces of the guys whenever she outrages lol.
Dark Route:
Thanks to the gag route, the images from this was erased from my mind lol. Waltred shows his dark self (no pun intended ^^;;) which can be both scary and interesting. He isn't his usual tsundere, kid-like self but he seems to have a grudge for Siena or something. Honestly, when he confessed to Siena, I was like ( ̄_ ̄ i). I find it hard to believe it since he is quite hostile towards Siena throughout the route. ^^;;
On the other hand, Siena is doubtful to everyone. She acts all friendly, complete with a carefree smile but deep inside she is contradicting whatever the other characters are telling her on her mind. Though I think, this is like the most natural reaction she showed throughout the game. Hearing a that kind of rumor, makes you a little queasy right? So being doubtful is not bad. I only don't like what she decided to do after that...but uh, I guess, that's kinda human nature? (。・ε・。)

As I've mentioned above, the art is the very reason I've started playing this one. IMO, the stills are better than the CGs. I think, the only likeable CGs are Dalim's ending and Waltred's dark ending. But the overall feel of the art is very fitting to the theme of the game. Same goes for the music as it blends accordingly and appropriately to the mood of the story.
The only downside of this game is it's not voiced. But no worries, Machi de Uwasa no Hakushaku-sama will keep you entertained with its interesting story, pretty art, and fitting music, not to mention that this is FREE. Who says good things need to be expensive? X3

PS Thanks to animationfreak for the information and the people from MNR for the walkthrough. ^_^
