I think this is pretty much an important problem.
「イスラム教はいい宗教だけど、豚肉を食べれないからムスリムになりたくない」
“I think Islam is a good religion, but it prohibits pork, so I don’t want to be a Muslim,”
「豚肉食べれないとムスリムになったらもう何も食べれないじゃん！？」
“Pork is prohibited in Islam, so if I become a Muslim, there is nothing I can eat anymore!”
と、そういう思った人が多いんですけど、
There are a lot of people thinking so, but
キリスト教も、ユダヤ教も本当のは禁止されて、大乗仏教は豚肉ところか、肉は禁止されてるではありませんか？
Aren’t Christianity, Judaism also actually prohibit it, and Mahayana Buddishm isn’t just prohibiting pork but any kind of meat?
8 また豚、これは、ひずめが分れているけれども、反芻しないから、汚れたものである。その肉を食べてはならない。またその死体に触れてはならない。
8 And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.

豚は何ですか？
What is pig?
豚は哺乳類(ほにゅうるい)で雑食(ざっしょく)の動物です。
Pig is an omnivorous mammal.
豚は自然なスカベンジャーで草から、死肉、罹患動物(りかんどうぶつ)、自分の子供、自分の糞尿まで ― 何でも食べる動物です。
Pig is a natural scavenger; it eats anything from grass, dead body, diseased animals, to even its own piglets and excrement.
養豚場をいくらキレイにしても、豚たちは自分の糞尿を食べないと確認できないでしょう。
No matter how clean the farms and environments on which it is raised may be, the pig is not by nature a clean-living animal. It often plays in, and even eats, its own excrement.
豚の消化器系(しょうかきけい)は早いで、毒素はちゃんと消されなくて、その毒素は豚の筋肉や脂肪に保存される。
The digestive system of a pig is very fast that it doesn’t have enough time to eliminate the toxins in its body, and the toxins will be stored in its fats and muscles.
牛肉と比べたら、豚肉は人間のおなかで短時間で消化されて、肝臓は毒素を消せる時間が足りません。
Compared to the beef meat, pork meat takes short time to be digested in human, so human liver doesn’t have enough time to eliminate the toxins in the fats and meats.
逆に牛は草を食べるし、胃も4つあるし、消化器系も長くて毒素を消せるし、牛肉は長い時間で消化されて、毒素があれば、人間の肝臓はその毒素を消せる。
Contrary, the cows eat grass only. They have 4 stomachs, and their digestive system is longer up to 24 hours, and there is enough time to eliminate the toxins in their body. Also, human takes longer time to digest beef, so even if there is toxin in the beef, still human liver has time to eliminate the toxin.
豚はなんでも食べるから色んなリスクがあります；
Because the pig eats everything, there are a lot of risks:

If the cysts enter blood stream, it causes cysticercosis disease.
嚢胞は虫になったら → 条虫症になる。
If the cysts hatch into worms, it causes taeniasis disease.
有鉤嚢虫は一番危険のリスクです。
Cysticercosis is most dangerous and risky.
サナダムシの卵は沸点まで煮ても死なないです。
The egg of taenia solium (unlike taenia saginata), won’t die even if boiled at boiling point.
卵（嚢胞）は血流に入り、色んな臓器にたどりつく可能性が高いです。
Once the eggs (cysts) enter the blood stream, they will reach any organs.
脳にたどり着いたら → 癲癇（てんかん）、脳梗塞（のうこうそく）になる
If the egg reaches the brain, it will cause neurocysticercosis, that will lead to seizure and stroke.
視神経(ししんけい)にたどり着いたら → 盲目になる
If it reaches optic nerve, it will cause irreversible acute blindness.
個人的にT.soliumの患者が見たことあります。まだ小さな子でかわいそうです。
I personally saw a case of taenia solium, and the patient was a kid, poor him.

The eggs will hatch into worms in human body and enter the bloodstream to reach the diaphragm and heart to cause breathing difficulty and heart disease respectively.

60年間、100年間ずっと豚肉を食べても何もならなかったよ！
“I’ve been eating pork for 60 years, 100 years, but nothing happen!”
と言ってる人がいるかもしれないけど、
Perhaps there are people who think so, but
それは神さまはあなたのことを愛してるから、あなたを病気から守って、それに感謝するべきじゃないかな？
That’s because God loves you and protects you from the diseases, and I think you should be grateful about it.
正直ムスリムはほとんど理由は知らないし、知りたくもなくて、食べないでと言われて、それに従うだけなんです。
Honestly, mostly Muslims do not know the reasons, and don’t even want to know the reasons, we just obey to what we’re commanded and do not eat pork.
私もそういうムスリムだったけど、
I was also like that but,
今になって、色々勉強して理由が学んで、「ああ、イスラム教は教徒を守る宗教なんだ」と気づきました。
As I learn a lot now and come to know the reasons, it makes me realize that “Ah, Islam is a religion that protects its believers!”.
食べなくても死なないし、食べたら病気になる・死ぬリスクがあるから、リスクがありすぎて、取らなくてもいいじゃないかと、私は思います。
I won’t die even if I don’t eat pork, I might catch a disease, or there is even a risk of dying if I eat. It’s so risky, so I better not take it – is what I think.
生き物ひとりひとり、一匹一匹は自分の役目があります。
Every living thing has its own role.
人間じゃないから食べれるってわけじゃない。
It’s not like because they are not human, you can eat any animal you like.
動物だからだって食べ物になれないものがあります。
It’s not like because they are animals, you can eat any animal you like.
豚は食べ物になるために作られたわけじゃなく、地球をきれいにするために作られたのかな～と私は思います。
I think pigs aren’t created to be our food, but they are created to clean the Earth.
色んな病気を持っていて、それは豚のせいではなく、
It’s not pig’s fault for having so many diseases,
人間に移らないようにその病気を背負ってるのに、
So that human won’t catch the infections, they’re taking the responsibility of having all the diseases in their body,
人間は勝手に豚を食べるから防ぎられる病気を移るのです。
Yet humans are so selfish to eat them and catch themselves diseases that are preventable.

F. Short neck
前のエントリに説明したけど、豚は首が短いから屠殺するときに頸静脈にたどり着かないです。
The pig's anatomy shows that it does not have a neck, there is an internal jugular vein which is unreachable and therefore cannot be slaughtered in the Islamic manner (As explained in the previous entry)
60年間、100年間ずっと豚肉を食べても何もならなかったよ！
“I’ve been eating pork for 60 years, 100 years, but nothing happen!”
と言ってる人がいるかもしれないけど、
Perhaps there are people who think so, but
それは神さまはあなたのことを愛してるから、あなたを病気から守って、それに感謝するべきじゃないかな？
That’s because God loves you and protects you from the diseases, and I think you should be grateful about it.
正直ムスリムはほとんど理由は知らないし、知りたくもなくて、食べないでと言われて、それに従うだけなんです。
Honestly, mostly Muslims do not know the reasons, and don’t even want to know the reasons, we just obey to what we’re commanded and do not eat pork.
私もそういうムスリムだったけど、
I was also like that but,
今になって、色々勉強して理由が学んで、「ああ、イスラム教は教徒を守る宗教なんだ」と気づきました。
As I learn a lot now and come to know the reasons, it makes me realize that “Ah, Islam is a religion that protects its believers!”.
食べなくても死なないし、食べたら病気になる・死ぬリスクがあるから、リスクがありすぎて、取らなくてもいいじゃないかと、私は思います。
I won’t die even if I don’t eat pork, I might catch a disease, or there is even a risk of dying if I eat. It’s so risky, so I better not take it – is what I think.
生き物ひとりひとり、一匹一匹は自分の役目があります。
Every living thing has its own role.
人間じゃないから食べれるってわけじゃない。
It’s not like because they are not human, you can eat any animal you like.
動物だからだって食べ物になれないものがあります。
It’s not like because they are animals, you can eat any animal you like.
豚は食べ物になるために作られたわけじゃなく、地球をきれいにするために作られたのかな～と私は思います。
I think pigs aren’t created to be our food, but they are created to clean the Earth.
色んな病気を持っていて、それは豚のせいではなく、
It’s not pig’s fault for having so many diseases,
人間に移らないようにその病気を背負ってるのに、
So that human won’t catch the infections, they’re taking the responsibility of having all the diseases in their body,
人間は勝手に豚を食べるから防ぎられる病気を移るのです。
Yet humans are so selfish to eat them and catch themselves diseases that are preventable.
