Ensure the water source cut-off valve to get the dishwasher is completely open. Unplug the dishwasher and then closed off the water source, then disconnect the fill line and then analyze the water heater valve. When the inlet screen is clogged, then replace the water valve don't just wash out the display, since debris can input the valve causing the valve to remain open, leading to flooding. Check the wiring connections on the water heater valve and fix any loose connections. In the event, the water valve will not open when triggered, replace it.


How to Replace a Dishwasher Water Inlet Valve


This DIY fix guide provides step-by-step directions for replacing the dishwasher inlet valve. The dishwasher inlet valve controls the flow of water to the dishwasher. If no water flows to the dishwasher, or in the event the water will not stop flowing to the dishwasher, then replace the water heater valve using a manufacturer-approved replacement component.

Follow the steps below to substitute Dishwasher Water Inlet Valve

Step 1: Shut off electric power and water supply into the dishwasher plug in the dishwasher or closed off the home circuit breaker to the dishwasher.
To confirm that power has been disconnected, be sure that the control panel does not light up when you press on a control button or the power button.
Locate the water supply valve to the dishwasher below the sink (or at the cellar ). Close the valve to close off the water supply going to the dishwasher.
Close the breaker off.

 


Step 2: Remove the outside door and control panel


Together with all the dishwasher door open, remove the Torx screws in the interior door panel. Confirm the outside door with one hand as you eliminate the last 2 screws so that the outer door doesn't fall.
Independent the exterior door panel and control panel marginally from the interior door , and break the outside panel on the ground at the same time you disconnect the user port controller cable harness from the controller panel.
Pull off the outer door and control panel.

Step 3: Eliminate the front entrance panel and toe panel


Employing a nut driver, remove the screws which hold the front entrance panel and toe panel set up.

Step 4: Disconnect the water supply line


Put a towel under the water inlet valve.
Eliminate the dishwasher supply line in the inlet valve assembly employing the channel-lock pliers.

Step 5: Remove the water inlet valve


Eliminate the water heater valve mounting thread and pull on the water inlet valve from the mounting bracket.
Pull the water heater valve slightly forward to get the cable tap and water inlet tubing links.
Release the locking tab and then disconnect the water inlet valve cable harness.
Publish the cable clamp onto the water inlet tube and pull on the inlet tube away from the water inlet valve.
Eliminate the water heater valve.

                               
Disconnect the inlet tube.


Step 6: Install the newest water heater valve


Connect the water inlet tubing into the brand new water inlet valve and then fasten the inlet tube together with the cable clamp.
Plug in the cable harness.
Set the water inlet valve at the bracket and fasten it using the mounting screw.


                              
Install the newest water heater valve.


Step 7: Connect the water supply line


Connect the water supply line into the water valve and tighten it firmly with channel-lock pliers.
Open the water supply valve and inspect the water supply line connection for leaks. Tighten the water distribution line link to prevent leaks.



                               
Join the water supply line.
Measure 8: Reinstall the front entrance panel and toe panel
Position the toe panel onto the dishwasher and position the entrance panel before the toe panel. Add the mounting screws and tighten the screws securely.


                              
Reinstall the Cable panel.
Measure 9: Reinstall the outside door and control panel
Position the outside door and control panel close enough to the interior door so that you can reconnect the consumer interface controller cable harness.

Reconnect the user interface controller cable tap and harness the outside door and control panel into the interior door panel.


                              
Reinstall the mounting screws.

Reinstall the outside door panel.
