Ok... so, I am starting this blog as I am currently in the process of lightening my hair. This is something many people wish to do, so I thought it would be a good experiment and fun to share my tips and tricks and experiences with everyone else.O (^ ▽ ^) O
I have often looked on YouTube and Google for videos and advice on lightening black hair, now I will add to those with my own personal, and truthful advice.
So a little about me and my hair.(^ O ^) I have chest length jet black hair. I have been dying it dark brown/black (depending on my mood) for approximately 2 years now. My natural colour is a dark, dirty blonde. It is very similar to 's colour, who actually inspired me to grow my black colour out in the first place.
I have around 2" of roots at the moment, which is looking rather terrible. I visited my hairdresser for a quick solution to this ugly problem. She advised me to use Vosene, Head & Shoulders (anti dandruff shampoo's) and to put Fairy Liquid (washing-up liquid) in my hair and leave it in for as long as I could every day. She said I would notice a big difference within 6 weeks. This is day 1!О (Z> ▽ <) y ☆
