Tributes published on February 28, 2012MARY ELLEN MOFF YOUNGSTOWN Mary Ellen Moff, 93, of 1216 Fifth Ave., died Saturday afternoon Feb. 25, 2012, at the Park Vista Retirement Center in Youngstown.Mrs. Griggs was a resident of Bay County for 31 years, and was a member of St. Andrew Methodist Church. She was a homemaker who loved her family very much. She enjoyed crocheting, reading books, and doing puzzles.Survivors include her husband, Thomas Miller Griggs Jr., whom she married Sept. 29, 1948; her children, Thomas Edward (Carol) of Winona, Ohio, David Allen (Wanda) of Idaho, Randall Arlen (Gail) of Topsham, Maine, Loren Michael (Ilana) of Ewing, Ky. and Mrs. Mark (Karen) Cawthon of King George, Va.; her grandchildren, Denise Ann, Tiffany Sue, Jennifer Lee, Heather Lynn, Shane Thomas, Jarod Allen, Erica Jean, Justin Edward, Anthony Wayne, Jeremiah David, Joshua Mark, Matthew Allen and KaLene Sandra; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Emily, Addyson, Celeste, Elizabeth Grace, Leon, III, Maxton, Blake and Charles; her sisters, Dorothy Clark of Canton and Joyce Lacey of East Palestine; and her brother, Melvin Winters of Columbiana.She was preceded in death by her brother, James Winters. Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at the Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Keith Gann officiating.Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Feb. He was born July 6, 1957, in Youngstown, the son of the late John M. and Ruth E. Brown Uber.Ronald was an Assistant Manager for Sheetz in Weathersfield Township. He was a member of the USA Roller Sports and a certified FIRS instructor.He is survived by his sister, Frances (Don) Gintert of Champion; Sandy Brown; nephews Tod (Nicole) Gintert and Kevin (Fawn) Gintert; niece Andrea Gintert; three great nephews, Jacob, Cole and Brayden; and two great nieces, Riley and Emma.aunt Moose Knuckles sale
