"Book Synopsis :
Sally's existence started with her young grandmother Carmen, who was born and raised and then fled from Puerto Rico to go to the United States as a young mother with her two children, Rose 2, and her baby boy John, fleeting the dark and abusive life at the hands of Rose and John's father. Once settling into this new world, Carmen met and married a younger man, Jose. As time passed Carmen gave birth to her youngest daughter Sue and life seemed safe and happy. Until, as evil would have it, at the innocent age of 14, young Rose, Carmen's oldest daughter, experienced what no child should ever have to, the violation of her body and soul that resulted in an unexpected pregnancy. Brought about through the darkness of evil and into a world that wanted her unborn child destroyed and a society that wanted to keep its secret. It was believed that it was due to the dark evil pack Roses' father had made with the god he served...the prince of darkness. He still lived in Puerto Rico and was well known and feared by the Islanders as a practicing warlock. Was there ever to be hope for this unborn child, conceived under such darkness......no father to be protected by and a mother too young to understand how...... was this child destined to be shadowed in darkness, evil, and brokenness? Even so, Sally entered this world on January 11th, 1961. Cylinda L. Ortiz loves being a mother of six and grandmother of 20 + grandchildren. She enjoys reading and her relationship with Jesus Christ, and most of all she loves sharing the love of God with others. Cylinda's goal in life is to bring glory to the name of Jesus Christ in all that she does. In her first book "Beautifully Broken" giving her true-life testimony in hopes to help others find peace in life's pain."
