突然ですが、今インターネットではある面白いものが広がっています。
それは、ある一種の詩なのですが、どちらかというと、ただただ難解な英単語を載せてある感じの文章です。これが本当にわからない。。。笑 なにせ９割のネイティブスピーカーでさえ、すべて正確に読むことは不可能とうたわれてますから。
詩の前にはこんな文章が、、、
If you can pronounce correctly every word in this poem, you will be speaking English better than 90% of the native English speakers in the world.
After trying the verses, a Frenchman said he’d prefer six months of hard labour to reading six lines aloud.
「もしこの詩の中にあるすべてのワードを正確に発音できたら、世界のイングリッシュスピーカーの９割より英語を優れて話せることになります。ちなみに、これに挑戦したあるフランス人は、この詩を６行声に出して読むよりかは、６ヶ月間の肉体労働を選ぶね、という恐ろしい冗談を言いましたとさ。」笑

でもなんかおもしろいですね。ネイティブでも発音できないって日本語ではおこらない現象じゃないですか。一般教養のある人たちには特に。読めない漢字はあっても、発音できないひらがなとかかたかなは(現代においては)ないですよねぇ。。
