Let’s face it: there is no replacement for a gym. However, when a gym is not available, we have to figure out a way to maintain our physical fitness. This is something that even I struggle with despite my extensive knowledge of fitness. Today I challenged myself to do the best workout that I could without the gym.

I started out with a moderate intensity cardiovascular exercise, running around the neighborhood for about 45 minutes in intervals.
Once that was completed, I returned home and used the stationary bike for an additional 10 minutes, then proceeded to using a dumbbell and Gada (Macebell). With the weights, I performed Barbarian Squats, Bent Over Ross, Biceps Curls, Shoulder Press, and several other exercises.
Here are the results of my workout:

While the numbers from this workout do not match what I am able to do at the gym, they are close enough, if only in terms of calories at least. Even still, this is helpful in maintaining fitness so that when the gym does open, I can pick up where I left off.
One more note: you may be wondering what kind of music I use for my workouts. Believe it or not, I like Super Eurobeats 🤷♂️
