この週末はいつもと違って、楽です
月曜、水曜と木曜日も小テストがあるですが…
なんか緊張していない。。。。。

いやいや、そんなことないよー
明日Erinaちゃんと図書館で勉強しますから
This weekend is a bit different from usual, more relaxing. I just realized that I have a quiz on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday though...but for some reason I'm not worried yet = =+ Have I become lazy? No no no, not true. I will be studying with Erina tomorrow.

I saw this on my way to school in the morning. It was amazingly beautiful!!

ラスベガスの空は大抵唯青くて、こんな雲を見るのは珍しいですね
It's mostly clear blue sky here, so this kind of cloud is rarely seen.

そして今日は家族と公園に行って、犬Luxiちゃんと遊びました。
一人で散歩した時に取ったの写真です。
So today I went to the park with my family to play with Luxi. I took some pictures of the sky when I took a walk by myself.

雨が嫌いの私にとって、ラスベガスの砂漠系天気が一番です
Isn't the Vegas Sky beautiful? For a person who dislikes the rain, the desert climate in vegas is great for me :P


今朝起きたら、アイススケーティング場へヽ(゜▽、゜)ノ行きました
久しぶりにSkating、とても楽しかったです。
これからもよくSkatingができたらいいね
本当に好きだしー
氷の上にいる時に、子供や大人の練習の姿を見ると、私はいつも凄く感動しました。
氷の夢を追い求めている人達、皆輝いている
できれば、私もあんな風に輝きたいね氷の上にも、自分の世界にも。
If I still have a dream, I must not give up on making it come true.
「夢がまだあったら、追い求めることを諦めるのはだめだ」と信じています。
I went ice skating this morning; haven't skated for such a long time. It was so much fun every time I skate, and I really wish I have more time to do it. I really love ice skating :) When I'm on the ice, watching kids and adults practicing figure skating moves, I'm always sooo touched. I can stand there all day watching them jump, spin, or just simple swing from here to there without an effort. It's just so beautiful, I wish I can be like them sometime in my life.

It's July already!

ただいまAlaskaAirline飛行機でSeattleに向かいます
この週末はアメリカの独立記念日、Independence Dayと言うの連休み
元々プランとか特になかったけど、急にSeattleに行こうと決めました
結構Randomですが、たまにこうしてもいいんじゃないでしょうｗ
実は、私は単独旅行が大好きです一人で飛行機に乗るのも何度もありました。
変じゃないかな？女の子の一人旅行はなんか危ないよってよく言われたが…
私にとって、一人でも楽しいですよ　団体よりExcitingし（笑）
でも団体旅行も好きですからー
しかしそう言っても、私はSeattleで友達がいる。今回この友達に世話になりますね。

そして学校についての話：
夏学期は半分過ごしました、あと６週間残す。
歯冠学の二つの実技試験でもう一度いい成績を取って超嬉しかった～
９点と１０点。私はやっぱり好きなことならいい点を取れるようだね。

あ、そうだ！先週の木曜日、初注射をしましたちょっと怖かったけど、注射の技術は歯科医にとして大事だから、やっと学んで嬉しかったそして、私のPartner Mikeさんが「エレンの注射は痛くなかった」と言ったよ

Rain

The city was buried in the grayish storm. The rain from the sky and the flood on the pavement felt so somber yet nostalgic. I must have been in this rain many times. I walked in the rain alone, trying to get on a bus that could take me to a high school I could not remember. I finally caught one, but a girl who was riding the same bus told me I should get on another because this bus is going a different route. I got off of the bus, back in the rain again.

Suddenly I am in front of a boy. I asked, "how would you describe the taste of a spark?" The boy chuckled and gave me a kiss. I'm not sure if I understand it now or not.

昨日は23歳になりましたー♬　学校の友達と祝って楽しかったです英語で記事をしたけど…ちょっと長すぎで、暫く翻訳しません…許してくださいでも写真いっぱいあります(*^▽^*)

２３歳って、、特別な感じなんかないですね。３がすきだから、２３歳はいい年だと思うこれからも、よろしくお願いします。

Yesterday was my 23rd birthday, my dental school friends made it SO awesome and fun even though we are all in the middle of intense midterms and practicals. So far the best thing in dental school is gotta be meeting all these friends who I would have never known if I didn't go to UNLV-SDM. Thank you all soooooo muchI didn't have time to think about how I want to celebrate my birthday, but yesterday from mornig to night, everything was beautiful because of you all

So start from the near midnight of 6/16, my brother and his gf and my mom, surprised me with a Custard pie from Marie's Calendar Lucy used the whipped cream to write "Happy Birthday Ellen" on the pie, it looked so professional that I thought the restaurant peopple did it!! That's some handskill I can see of a future dentist, haha.

In the morning of 6/17, I got up earlier than usual because I wanted to get Krispy Kreme Donuts for the whole class, in celebration of my birthday and nutrition class at the same time..haha! Krispy Kreme was definitely the one and only choice for the morning, so I really went out of my way to make it happen I went to the KK closest to school, but then found out that the shop was in downtown LV and there was NO PARKING SPACE! There were not that many people there, but there were no designated parking area either, so I took the risk... of getting towed away by parking my car with a bunch of taxi and praying that no one tows my car... The lady at the donut shop was slowly picking up donuts and putting them in boxes, I was so nervous the whole time worring when I go back to my car, it's not there anymore Thank God it's still there!!!

After I got to school an settled down, Erina brought me 3 balloons signed by Annie, Rachel, Shannon, Erina, Galya, Aviva, Nipa, Trent, Kevin, David、Megan, Kirsten! I was so touched when I saw the balloons, thank you all so much I love you Nipa also got me a note book, folder, and a calendar with cute cats on! You all are soooo sweet, made my birthday soooo beautiful

At lunch around 16 friends came to eat with me at the Thai restaurant Krung Siam. David got me a birthday cake, everyone sang me a birthday song, and Galya in addition sang me happy birthday song in Hebrew :))) I like Galya's voice! Wish I can sing like that too. After lunch we got a really awesome group picture :

Later at night, Erina treated me to Studio B buffet at the M resort along with her bf's friends and Kevin and David. I totally ate too much and fell in severe food coma afterwards, but I FELT GREAT!!! Thank you Erina:)))

Soo, I'm 23 years old now. Wow! I have not thought about how it's like being a 23 year old. I like this age because it has 3 in it. At this point of my life, I don't really have much going on except for school for the next 3 more birthdays. Hope school goes by smooth and quick...quicker!!

Happy Birthday to me. I'm so fortunate to live until this age and have all these loving friends and family. Thank you God. May this year is full of happiness!

Hello again!

久しぶり～～（また）最近はよくSim Labでドリルの練習をしたり、友達Erinaさんと勉強したりしました。毎日一生懸命頑張ってますいつか素敵な歯医者になるため、毎日勉強と練習しなきゃね私は大抵一人で勉強するタイプなんだけど、最近よくErinaと一緒に勉強してて、なんか夜勉強が楽しくなりました。友達がいてよかったね

ちょっと前、凄く嬉しいことがありました……私は歯冠の実技試験で９．５点（全部１０点）を取りました試験の翌日、成績が公告する前に、教授が私に「良くできましたよ、エレン」と言われて、私は泣いちゃいました（笑）泣いてないよ！！でも、とてもとても嬉しかったです

もうひとつの嬉しいことは、今日の咬合試験です。Part IはWaxing；Waxing とは蝋の実技試験。蝋で臼歯を作って、咬合点も作る試験です。Part IIは普通の咬合試験……ですが、全部３３の質問がありましたこれだけで、嬉しいです（笑）３３が大好きだよ～～～～

知らずにもう六月だよね！！！この夏は仕方ない、学校で過ごすはずですね。昨日と今日は五つの試験があって、木曜日も来週ももっと試験がありますので、勉強します。夏は楽し……くなればいいね、学校があってもｗ

It's been so long since the last blog again, I have been lagging here due to endless studying and practicing. I think I have stayed almost every possible day in simlab to practice drilling or catch up with projects. After drilling I either went home and pass out, or went to Ay-Chung Cafe to studying. It sounds pretty horrible but honestly I felt this was actually bearable, thanks to my study/sim lab buddy Erina! It really makes a difference when someone keeps you company through all these tedious times

So yesterday and today, so far we have already been through 3 exams and 2 practicals. This June is gonna be fun...Hopefully being a June baby can give me some luck though. I love June, especially the 17th. haha

This is a while ago already, but I actually got 9.5/10 on my first crown prep practical My bench Instructor came to my bench, the day after the practical and told me "Good job Ellen". I almost cried, haha as silly as it sounds I was so happy to see that I'm actually improving, that's the best feeling.

Today we had the occlusion waxing practical and written exam; the waxing went alright..I'm secretly praying for a decent grade. But I kind of got excited over the occlusion exam because Dr. Nelson wrote 33 questions!!!! 33!!!! What an amazing number and how often it is the total exam questions!! I don't think I have ever had any exam that's 33 questions total, haha I love occlusion, even though it's so hard for me to understand due to my spatial arrangement disability lol
