In this blog, I  will tell you about Japan’s water quality, rivers, and legends. I want to tell you about Japan's high water quality and longest river because I read it in books. And Japan is my home country, so I want to know about Japan’s water and what is special.

If you come to Japan, you can drink tap water. We have a good water quality because we made a water filter. And compared in the US, some places can’t drink tap water. But in Japan, we can drink most tap water. According to “Learn Fact Science”, it says Japan's canal and drainage system is so exceptionally clean that even delicate fish like koi and carp can live and thrive in it without any problems. This is made possible by carefully filtered water, the use of natural springs, and strict pollution control measures.

The Shinano River is the longest in Japan at 367 km, while the longest in the world is the Nile at 6,650km, so we can see that Japanese rivers are relatively short. Actually most of Japan's rivers are actually not long. Because of the high altitude. And it doesn't even make it into the top 100 longest rivers in the world.

According to legend, a long time ago, there was a great battle between the gods living in Takamagahara, and the river was formed from the blood that was shed at that time. There is also a legend that the river came to be called "Chikuma River" (Blood-Body River) because the blood flowed everywhere.

In conclusion, Japan’s water is very unique and worth learning about. Japan’s water quality, rivers, and legends are very different from other countries. The world can benefit from learning about Japan’s water because Japan’s water is amazing.
