In some places, we are already tracked via our mobile phones. Let say I own a business establishment, and I want to track my employees. I can install certain antennas that will track mobile phones. If I know the mobile phone number of all my employees (which is highly likely), I can track them using a form of triangulation, as long as they are on location. A larger entity, say the government, could track individuals over a much larger geographical area if they wanted to. The point is to pick WHO you want to track. It wouldn’t be prudent to track everybody.
This is already done in some locations. But I couldn’t care less. If you want to waste your life knowing where I am, more power to you. It is easier if you just ask me. But for some folks (those that have something to hide), this is a major issue. But this is where technology is going, like it or not.
