中学英語でヘラヘラ喋る

「PRESIDENT (プレジデント) 4月15日号（中学英語でペラペラ喋る）」の24ページには以下のような英文が掲載されています。しかし、赤字は中学英語ではありません。

There are two major religions in this country. One is Shintoism. Another one is Buddhism. Shintoism was born in this country 2000 years ago. Buddhism came from India through China in the 6th century. Most of the Japanese visit both Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines. Usually we do not hold funeral ceremony in Shinto shrines. We mainly go to Shinto shrines for celebration. For example, I had my wedding ceremony in a Shinto shrine. However, I had my father’s funeral ceremony in a Buddhist temple.

上記の英文の右側には「使う単語は中学英語レベルで十分」と書いてあります。しかし、religion、funeral、Shintoism、Buddhismは中学校では習いません。religious/religionは旺文社の英検準1級でる順パス単に掲載されています。実際は、中学英語レベルでは手も足も出ません。上記の概念を相手に伝えるとき、religionやfuneralを知らないと、まったくどうしようもありません。

中学英語では、ペラペラではなく、ヘラヘラしか喋れません。
