A Brickhouse red Dunk Mid SB was one of the sleeper hits of early 2011, so the fact that another red suede Dunk SB will hit retailers later this year with a totally different feel, just goes to show how far a little attention to colorblocking can go. And it certainly doesn’t hurt the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Red Devil’ that it has a theme where the aforementioned Mids were simply known by their color code, but the real distinguishing feature between that gum soled edition’s classic look and this pair’s rather menacing vibe is all in the red midsole. Dunks have come with white midsoles more than all other colors combined, so seeing the bloody blocking extend all the way to a black bottom makes for a fitting Halloween release.
