disclaimer: here I am bringing yet another (kind of biased lol) long report. read at your own risk. lol
The first thing I saw on my twitter feed on the night of December 8th was an announcement of this "free event" to be held on the 13th. Surprisingly, my newly met friend 
boron215 didn't tagged me in this. Lol. But anyway, never mind that small detail.
Fast forward to today, 13th of December. I thought I won't be able to tune in to the live stream because almost up to the last minute, my mother is using her phone (just so ya'know, I'm only using my mother's phone), thank goodness that she finished using it a few minutes before the event starts. As I kept on flicking this platform which is new to me, I managed to get in 10 minutes before the show. I was so excited because this is the first time I'm going to attend a free online event for tokusatsu (ultraman) fans (I'm only new in the fandom, anyway).
The show started with Ultraman, Ultraman Tiga and Ultraman Trigger appearing on the stage followed by the CEO of Tsuburaya Productions, Tsukagoshi Takayuki. In his speech he greeted everyone that's watching online from Tsuburaya Imagination for Japanese fans and Ultraman Connect for overseas fans. He briefly introduced what is today's event, #TsubuCon or Tsuburaya Convention is all about. It started in 2019 and that it was planned to be held every two years. Two years had passed and 2021, they made the event possible but opting to using new technologies (live streaming) because they have to give up the live event due to the spread of corona virus.
CEO Tsukagoshi also introduced the projects lined up for the up coming year which is already really promising.
Some of the projects he mentioned are:
• Ultraman netflix anime movie
(The co-creators John Aoshima and Shannon Tindle gave a video greeting/speech about the said project)
• Ultraman Another Gene (an Ultraman Geed spin-off comic)
• Tsuburaya Imagineering
(Introduced "INTO THE STORY" the upcoming event which I've read before as an experience-based live spectacle wherein you can experience the ultraman world yourself)
CEO Tsukagoshi ended his speech by adding up that there are lots of projects lined up for the ultraman fans for the upcoming year and that we should look forward to it. ^_^ As a new fan, I can't contain the excitement for the upcoming projects.
CEO Tsukagoshi was now replaced by tonight's MC's Sean Nichols and Sawano Maki.
Next is the reason why I am attending the event, yes, it's the guest of appearance of Terasaka Raiga and Hirano Kohshu. When I saw it announced 5 days ago, I already hopped in upon knowing that they will appear in the event. :)))
They aired the trailer of the upcoming Ultraman Trigger movie which made me lost it. As exaggerated as it is, I totally lost it. 😅 It was so damn hot and promising as well AND ALSO!!! NAKAMURA YUICHI!!!! I'M ALREADY LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!!!!
The MC then introduced the guest Terasaka Raiga and Hirano Kohshu alongside the special guest Nakamura Yuichi as the new captain of GUTS-SELECT.
Raiga was so lively as always. 😊😊 SMILE SMILE 😊😊
Also, Kohshu was ready to give some spoilers and Raiga said "you shouldn't do that". Lol.
The highlight of their appearance was Nakamura Yuichi as he was introduced as the "new captain of GUTS-SELECT".
Nakamura Yuichi: The viewers might even be puzzled "why is Nakamura Yuichi appearing in here. yes, I, Nakamura Yuichi will be appearing as part of the cast for Ultraman Trigger. I haven't even realized it yet...
Terasaka Raiga: huh, you haven't?
Nakamura Yuichi: ...alongside with this announcement, I thought that was some magnificent prank. March 11th is the screening and distribution, I still thought it was some magnificent prank. Isn't now even a prank?
He gave a brief description about his role which is a kind one in contrast with Tatsumi who's kind of stearn and has great presence. He was a kind captain and even addresses the members by their names like for example, Kengo, he calls him "Kengo-kun".
He also mentioned about the visual and as seen on the poster, he was holding a big weapon and that the size of the weapon is as big as him. He was also asked by the MC Sean about captain Tatsumi and of course, he avoided spilling the beans by saying "he's that... right".
Raiga and Kohshu was asked to do their transformation poses and Ultraman Z and Ultraman Trigger appeared right after. For the photo session, they introduced the new giant, Evil Trigger that will appear on the movie. Lastly, they gave a final message.
For the next part of this post, I'll only give brief information that I've picked up along the way.
• Ultraman Anime season 2 will be available on netflix in April 2022.
> Kimura Ryohei who voices the main character, Hayata Shinjiro made an appearance).
> Ultraman Ace made an appearance for the photo session.
> After the photo session ended, Kimura made a quick exit just to grab his smartphone and take pictures of the Ultramen. :)))
• GRIDMAN UNIVERSE
> The director, Amemiya Akira gave a brief message as what to look forward to the movie.
• Tsuburaya x Toei Animation "Kaiju Decode" won awards
• Shin Ultraman
> Saito Takumi and the director Higuchi Shinji appeared
I wasn't able to finish the event since we are going to eat our dinner. (｡ŏ_ŏ)
The rest of the information is already available on the official sources. Honestly, today's event was mind blowing to me, at least. There are lots of things to look forward to and I'm excited for it!!
Oh and before I forgot, Ultraman Trigger Episode Z will be available on Tsuburaya Imagination on the same release day as in theaters. Free members can also watch it with a certain fee to be paid, I'm not sure if it'll be available overseas since I've just signed up for free member subscription. orz
