Laser Beam Splitter Cube
Dielectric film type polarizing cube dielectric beam splitter is the most common and high-performance PBS type, suitable for high demand laser and precision optical applications. The structure consists of two right angled prisms, and the inclined surface of the coated film is bonded to the inclined surface of another prism through optical adhesive to form a cube. The core principle is to use the interference effect of multi-layer dielectric optical films deposited on the prism slope to separate light. Dielectric film type PBS is used in fields with strict requirements for polarization control due to its high performance, such as high-power laser systems, precision interferometry, quantum information science, scientific research and experimental optics, high-end displays and imaging.
