起業して早４ヶ月が過ぎた・・・・・。
最近、起業した時の気持ちを思い返すと時が多くなってきている。
何かを見失いかけているのか！！
起業した動機の一つに次の世代に対しての思いのものもある。
ある庭師の言葉が心に刺さった『自分たちは次の世代を担う者達への伝い手である』
自分作った庭は自分の人生の時間では完成しなので次の世代に託すそうです。庭師とは人づくり。
意思を継いだ人たちが新たな時間を刻んで行く。そんな会社に成長させていきたい。

今日、弊社 『 General Alternatives Co. Ltd. 』 を誕生させました。
とは言っても登記書類を提出したまで。
ここまでは、誰でも出来る（ホントに）。大切なのは、これからどう繁栄させていくかです。
『やるか、やらないか。』
これに尽きる。
具体的に勝算のあるビジネスモデルが確立されているわけでもないし、アイデアがあるわけではない。
ただ、そろそろやらなきゃって本当に感じてて、とりあえず枠というか器だけ用意した。
もちろんラフな事業プランはあって、しばらくこれで日銭を稼いでいきたいというビジネスはあります。
ただ、それは最終的なGOALや目的に向かう一歩に過ぎない。
『 ビジョナリー・カンパニー ― 時代を超える生存の原則 』（原書： Built to Last Rev: Successful Habits of Visionary Companies ）
多大な影響を与えてくれた本。いずれ、社員を雇用できるようになったら、入社条件か、社員研修に取り入れたい。
そこにある一説：
『 Time Teller 』 になるか 『 Clock Builder 』 になるか。
「刻を告げるだけの存在」になるか、「時計（繁栄のための仕組み）を創る存在」になるか。
刻を告げたい人は、告げられるという確信が出来るまで、いろんな理由をつけて「やらない」ことを正当化する人のような気がします。
僕らは Clock Building をしたい。そういう会社を築いて行きたいです。

April 3rd, 2007 is the day when our company, General Alternatives Co. Ltd., is founded.
This is the day when all the necessary documents for building a corporation are submitted to the authorized offices.
Preparing these documents and submitting them to form a company are not special acts for special people; anyone can build a company. What is important is not to build one, but to make it an art and to make it last as a visionary company.
"Do", or "Do Not". There is no "TRY". (<- from "Star Wars")
Yet, forming a company at this stage does not mean "we are ready". In fact, we do not have any winning strategies, plans, or great ideas. All we know now is that we really have to act upon as soon as possible to make our society a nicer place to live. This is the key driver that made us build the General Alternatives without knowing exactly what we would want to do.
Of course, we are thinking about a few businesses we would like to be involved at the start of our company, and we will in fact make them happen in the coming months. But we must not forget no matter how well or bad they (our businesses) turn out to be, they are not the ultimate goals for us to achieve. They are rather a first step.
There is a book called "Built to last" which has made great influences on us. It has told me the principles and the real reasons why a company is to exist. I would really want to make this book a prerequisite for our future employee or to adopt the book as a part of our company training.
One of the arguments in the book is about to become either a "Time Teller" or a "Clock Builder". Telling time is of course a very important function or an act; however, what is more important is to build a clock so that anyone can tell time whenever she/he wants. Thus, the purpose of a company to exist ought not to be to tell time; it ought to be to build a clock.
We would like to do the Clock Building. General Alternatives Co. Ltd. is to become a clock builder.
