Beatport - 5th Anniversary

One of the top digital download sites in electronic music, Beatport is celebrating their fifth anniversary this month.

世界トップクラスのエレクトロニック・ダンスミュージック ダウンロードサイトBeatportが今月５周年を迎えるそうです。






Along with the celebration they seem to be releasing Beatport Version 4.0 on 21st January 2009.
Since I use Beatport on an everyday basis for checking new releases of electro house & progressive house tracks, I look forward to the new update.

5周年記念にあわせて2009年1月21日にはBeatportの最新版となるBeatport Version 4.0 をリリースするみたいです。普段からエレクトロハウスやプロウレッシブハウスの新譜をチェックするためにBeatportを多用する自分としては今回のアップデート、楽しみですねー。

新しく発表されたSONY サイバーショット DSC-G3。
シンプルなデザインに黒、と文字ロゴがもう少し小さければ好みな外観。
WiFi&フルブラウザ搭載によるカメラからオンラインの写真共有サイトなんかへの直接アップロード、3.5型エクストラファイン・タッチパネル液晶、有効1010万画素、1/2.3型の「Super HAD CCD」搭載、と最新スペックなリストはまだまだ続く感じ。






Unless you have WiFi connectivity at the places you go in your everyday life, I guess an iPhone might still be an easier way of sharing. Let's hope the next generation iPhone has a better camera. On the otherhand, I'm liking the design language of recent SONY products, so I look forward to there future products as well.


都内のWiFiスポット、増えたとは言っても画質はだいぶ負けるけどまだまだiPhoneの方が外出先からのオンライン写真共有では楽かも。次期iPhoneに今より良いカメラが搭載される事を勝手に期待してみます。でも最近のソニー製品のデザインは結構好きな方向に向いてるので今後も期待です。

One of the best looking board I've seen so far, out from Burton designed by Timothy Kelleher.
Based on the Burton Custon line, only 300 units are sold.
Great model name, design, and the size is just right for me :D

デザインが今までみた板の中で一番好きなバートンの09モデル。デザイナーはティム・ケレハー。
300本限定でベースはバートン-カスタムの様です。
モデル名とデザインがすごく良いね、サイズも自分にはちょうど良いかも。



I went snowboarding at the end of the year '08 for the first time in 3-4 yrs.
The snow isn't as good as when I was boarding back in NY, but YES I still love the sport.
Thinking of going up north to Hokkaido this season, cuz I hear it's great over there.

年末に3,4年ぶりに東京近郊の雪山へ、NYに住んでた頃の様な雪質は無かったけどやっぱり最高。
今シーズンは行った友人皆が口を揃えたかのように勧める北海道へ行ってみようかと思ってます。

Probably one of my favorite brand at the moment with an amazing collection from top to bottom.

The sunglass is a collaboration model with an LA based eyewear brand, OLIVER PEOPLES. A great eyewear brand I've been into for the past few years.

サングラスに関してはロスを拠点とするアイウェアブランドのOLIVER PEOPLES。偶然にも、数年前からここのサングラスを気に入って使用してます。

A 2009 model single-speed bicycle out by Cannondale Bicycle Corp.
I'm pretty sure it'll look great with white carbon wheels by Aerospoke.
Sometimes it's faster getting somewhere riding bicycles in the streets of Tokyo. Haven't been to NY in a while, but it's kind of like NYC with better road pavement (except for on going construction areas which never seems to end..) and less one-way streets.

東京都内だと場合によっては自転車の方が早かったりしますよね。ここ最近は行ってないけどNYCも似た感じかも、東京の方が道路がきちんと舗装されてて（いつまでたっても終わらない工事中道路除く）一方通行が少ない印象。
