スリランカ中部ハバラナの乾いた風が吹くA6ハイウェイ沿い　唐突に現れるG.AWINE STORESはまるで映画のセットの様な物々しさだ　ここでは店の中に一歩も入る事は出来ない　強盗対策でガチガチに固められた鉄格子のバリケード　その隙間から地元の男達に混じって口頭で酒を注文する　金が集まる場所ゆえのこれがスリランカ流のリアルな護身術　砂漠を彷彿とさせる荒野の真ん中

無機質な鉄格子に手を入れた冷えたビールを流し込み、午後の旅路へ向けた燃料補給は完了だ🍺

Along the dry winds of the A6 highway in Habarana, central Sri Lanka, G.AWINE STORES suddenly appears, looking like a movie set. It's not even possible to step inside the store; it's barricaded with iron bars to prevent robbery. Through the gaps, I mingle with the local men and verbally order alcohol. Being a place where money is plentiful, this is a true Sri Lankan form of self-defense. In the middle of a desert-like wilderness, I reach through the impersonal iron bars to pour a cold beer, and my fuel is ready for the afternoon's journey.
