Tokyo Day 2 – 28.12.2011

Unfortunately I had no time yesterday to post. So now you’ll get 2 posts at once ^.~

So yesterday we started the day in Harajuku which had cute winter decoration at Takeshita Dori.

First I wanted to go to the Johnny shop, but as I saw the loooong queue in front I decided today was no good day for that. XD So we headed to Takeshita Dori. Was kind of surprised to find an AKB, new Johnny’s shop and KDorama shop there o.O Luckily for my purse I didn’t spend lots of money there this time. Only a handfull photos. But also got an Omiyage for Careline. ^.~

We went down to AU shop were our Arashi boys were waiting. ^.^~ Lucky for us the promotion is still going on and all posters were still up ^.^Also we talked a bit with one  of the shop women there.  She was really nice and surprised that we were from Germany.

They even had the table on display which was used for the poster above:

Our way led us now to Omotesando. I already knew that there would be the Fuku Arashi promotion and it was really easy to spot it. XD Lots of people were already infront to take pictures. So this couldn’t stop us from also taking pics. ^.^

Then we went down to Omotesando station…. and this was a hard fight XD So many people taking pictures and crossing the poster XDD It really took long till we could get all the pics that we wanted to take. Really tiring to be an Arashi fan XD

Our next goal was NHK in Shibuya… well we didn’t really know  where that exhibition of their Kohaku posters were, so we were kinda lost… but then a sweet lady from NHK came to us and gave us an flyer as she thought we were MatsuKen fans as we were looking at his poster. We asked if there were any Arashi posters and she led us inside and gave us a little flyer with Arashi on it and allowed us too take a pic of the poster inside. unfortunately that exhibition was closed that day ;_; But therefore she gave us some cute stickers from NHK characters XDD

Our way lead us further to Shibuya were we met with Kiki and her friend and had something to eat.Unfortunately i forgot to take a picture. ^^;; But we found one more  Kohaku poster out there ^.~ And to my pleasure Ohno also greeted us. Gosh I love that poster!

And there is more to come~! We went down to Shimbashi to go to Shiodome as we heard there would be some illumination. On our way there was NINO AGAIN!! He really seems to be EVERYWHERE this time!! XD

But we first made a break at NTV shop. Of course there was another Arashi poster but they also had a little Kaseifu no Mita exhibition! With her sign and you can also buy her bag and stuff (but too expensive! XD)

And this was the illumination! Gosh it was so awesome! REally really nice! They had some music playing which suited the atmosphere really reallly good!

Our last thing to do was visiting the TV shops in Tokyo eki, were I got the picture book of JIN. After this we were really tired!!! Here now only the goodies that I got yesterday:

Tokyo Day 1 – 27.12.2011

Let’s start with our little vacation blog.

Everything started already on December 26th when we boarded Lufthansa A308.

I knew that Muh and my former Japanese teacher would also sit in the exact same airplane. But what I hadn’t known… that my former Japanese teacher would sit directly besides us! I was so surprised when she came as I had already looked out for her at the airport but hadn’t seen her. So that was really a fun surprise. Such a huge airplane and she manages to sit besides us XD

After a looooooooooooong flight with no sleep >-< (but watching Larry Crowne and the Smurfs XD) we finally arrived back “home” at Narita airport. We joked around that “Damn why isn’t Arashi here to pick us up?!” and then when we walked around the corner that awesome man came into sight!

Sasuga Nino!! Thanks for greeting us at the airport! We had a long time at Narita as we still had to line up to get our JR railpass exchanged and there was suuuuuuch a looooooong queue. But then we finally managed to get it and also all our train reservations which we needed for our sightseeing tour and trip to Nagoya. But we couldn’t catch a bus ;___; So this time we took the NEX train to get to Ikebukuro.  As it was really difficult to walk with all our luggage we decided to also take a taxi to get to our home in Mejiro. And then came the suprise: No one was at home! What?! How can this be? What should we do? Luckily we remembered the code to open the front door so at least we could put our luggage inside the house. But we had no access to our room. (Is what we thought cause the room was open, we just had not tried it XD)

So we decided to leave the luggage there and head out to town to get something to eat and come back later when everyone is back home.

We walked to Ikebukuro as jet lag was approaching us and riding the train would only make us even more sleepy. We found a seveneleven connbini and went inside to search for Kaibutsu-kun goods. I knew there was not much hope as it was already more than  a month since the start of the campaign: BUT we still managed to find 2 Kaikai snacks and also Nino pockys! Yatta! We also found an AU Arashi poster (but yes we didn’t had our camera with us so only mobile phone pic which is bad >.<)

We got ourselves something to eat, looked around the shops a little bit and then went to watch the Kaibutsu-kun movie in 3D!! Were I also got some merchandise! ^.^~~

But I have to admit…watching the movie with jet lag was REALLY REALLY hard! XDDD And yes, if it wasn’t for Ohno….. I wouldn’t have watched it till the end XDDD It’s bad! Story kinda boring, the effects not really good…. well it’s a kids movie afterall, right? But Ohchan was still really adorable as Kaibutsu. And sometimes even kakkoii XDD

After this our long day ended. We went back to our house, finally someone was at home, and checked into  our room and went to sleep!
