こんにちわ!

今日、ハロウィーンについて話します。

Halloween (spelling in English and French) is a cool special day on the last day of October. What is really fun about this day is that everyone can costume themself and walk everywhere without being weird or marginalized. This year I choose to costume into a Fortune Teller (写真をのせます) One of my friend (actually my love) never ever experience Halloween so we did trick or treat.

Some houses don't celebrate Halloween. We can notice it mainly because their house aren't decorated with Halloween stuff (such as spider web, skeleton, witches, coffin) Some people also prepared haunted house in their garage. I really like those. Also in big cities there is special event prepare for Halloween (shows, haunted houses, activities)

Many people like to sculpt pumpkin to create monsters face, or cute animals. Some people are very creative and they creat very impressive pumpkins. ( i'll try to find funny and very pretty ones to send to you !)

Trick or treat is about going from one house to another, knocking on doors and asking for candies. Actually in Quebec, because we speak French we don't ask "Trick or Treat" but we do ask candies. Little kids are usually with their parents to be protected. youngher people go form house to house before the night. Teenagers go form house to house around 7h PM. Policeman and fireman helps to make this celebration more secure.

It's really popular among young people. (kids and teenagers). Older people(young adults and adults) prefer to do parties with costumes, or frightning acitvities like looking horro movies, playing horror role boardgame, sharing ghost stories.

If you have any question, you can ask ! I will be very happy to answer
