日本社会は、自分の属するコミュニティないし集団の「ソト」の人との交流が少ないという点において先進諸国の中で際立っている。

Japanese society is extremely unique in that people in a certain group or community far less often interacts with others, or “outsiders,” who belong to other groups than people in the rest of developed countries.
＜訳例２＞
Compare with people in other developed countries, Japanese people are characterized by the far less frequency with which they interact with those who belong to other groups or communities.
「社会的孤立」について、あなた自身の考えを80語程度の英語で述べなさい。
I think social isolation has negative effects on Japanese people. For example, in Japan, if you drop out of college, it is very difficult to get into another one and start anew. This means that once you have left a certain group you belong to, few other groups will accept you. As a result, a lot of promising young people will be deprived of opportunities they might otherwise take advantage of. For this reason, I think Japan should make more effort to decrease social isolation. (85 words)
