It was time for a break and I was hungry. I said to my friend "l will see you up upstairs. I have to get my sandwich in the toaster." I have a half hour break and time is precious. We agreed that we would sit outside for dinner. Inside was very stuffy and claustrophobic. In contrast outside the weather was balmy and the escarpment is always beautiful to look at. A nice relaxing escape from the demands downstairs.
In the end Carol beat me outside. My sandwich was still cooking in the toaster. I joined her outside and we chatted about the two water dragons, that were enjoying the warm concrete and eating the flying bugs that were about. The flying bugs, reminding us that summer is near. I threw a small piece of bread to them. One came over to taste, but he only had a nibble and that was that. It did not tempt him at all; bugs are much tastier!!
Kate joined us outside and was eating her normal diet of chocolate for dinner and Carol and I teased her a little. I eventually enticed her to share my chicken wrap after a lot of encouragement. That made me happy.
