昔々、あるところにおじいさんとおばあさんがいました。
ある日おじいさんが竹を取りに竹藪に行くと、なんと一本の竹が光っていました。
おじいさんは気味が悪いので家に帰りました。
次の日も竹藪に行くと、その竹はまだ光っていました。おじいさんは半ば仕方がない気持ちで竹を切って見ると、なんと竹の中に小さな女の子がいました。
女の子「私はかぐや姫と申します。」
爺「これは驚いた。そうだ!!竹から生まれたから竹子と名付けよう。」
女の子「だから、かぐや姫だっつーの!!（怒）」
時が経つに連れて、竹子はどんどん美しく育って行きました。そして竹子が18の誕生日を迎えた日、竹子はおじいさんに言いました。
竹子「おじいさん、私は月に帰らなければなりません。」
爺「なんだって!?」
竹子「おじいさん、今までお世話になりました（涙）。」
爺「つーかさ、お前、竹から来たんだから、月じゃなくて竹に帰れよ!」
竹子「確かに。。」
そして竹子は竹藪に帰り、舌切すずめと仲良く暮らしましたとさ。

Once upon a time,there were a grandfather and a grandmother is in certain.
One day, Grandpa found out a shining bamboo in some of bamboos when he went bamboo picking.
He was so scared and felt creepy, so he returned to home.
Next day he went to there again. And that bamboo was still shining. So he forceed himself to cut the bamboo, and he did.
He found out little a tiny girl in the bamboo.
Girl "Hi, I'm Queen bamboo."
Grandpa "Wow, you freak me out. I'm going to name you Bamboo girl."
Girl "I told you, my name is Queen bamboo!!"
As time goes by, she grew up beatifull. The day she turn out 18, she said like
Girl "Listen Grandpa. I need to go back to the moon."
Grandpa "what?"
Girl "Thank you for everything what you did to me."
Grandpa "No way!! Come to think of it, you are from bamboos, so you should go back to baboos."
Girl "Yes, you are right..."
So she went back to the bamboos instead of the moom.
