京都の春を彩る花街・祇園甲部の舞台公演「都をどり」の衣装合わせが２４日、京都市東山区の祇園甲部歌舞練場であった。
１４３回目の今年は、本阿弥光悦、俵屋宗達らが京都で創始した「琳派（りんぱ）」の誕生から４００年にあたることにちなみ「花都（はなのみやこ）琳派染（そめ）模様」がテーマ。琳派ゆかりの社寺を背景にした「光悦寺紅葉尽（もみじづくし）」など８景を上演する。舞妓（まいこ）が毎年あつらえるそろいの着物は、「光琳水（みず）」と呼ばれる流水の図柄にボタンやカキツバタなどが華やかにあしらわれた。
今回から舞台公演に初めてイヤホンガイドを導入。高齢者や外国人観光客の増加に対応し、３階の桟敷を長いす席に改める。４月１～３０日の毎日４回公演。観覧券は２５００～４８００円。問い合わせは祇園甲部歌舞会
