FIRST DAY
Pangkalan Bun / Airport - Kumai – Tanjung Harapan
After arriving in the airport you will be picked up by a tour guide and he will take you directly to Kumai, the trip from the airport to the dock where the boat is located takes about 20 minutes by car. Arriving at the dock you will be introduced to the team which consist of the boat captain, a crew, a guide, and a cook who will accompany you during your Orangutan Tour Tanjung Puting
Your trip will then be continued using the boat / Klotok to the first camp in Tajung Puting National Park area. The boat will go along the river to Tanjung Harapan to see the process of feeding Orangutan at 3 PM. After that you go back to the boat and continue going along the river to the next camp which is called Pondok Tangguy. During the trip on the boat, there will be a lot of animals such as long – tailed monkeys, Proboscis monkeys and birds. Arriving at the next camp, you will stay overnight on the boat.
SECOND DAY
Tanjung Harapan – Pondok Tanggui – Camp Leakey
After waking up and having breakfast at 7 AM you will be taken to see the process of feeding Orangutans in the second camp that is Pondok Tangguy the feeding will be done at 9 AM. After feeding Orangutan you go back to the boat to continue your trip to the third camp that is Camp Leakey. The trip from Pondok Tangguy to Camp Leakey takes about 1 hour. Arriving at Camp Leakey, you have lunch at 12 AM, before 2 PM you will be taken to track the forest to see Orangutans which will be called from the forest to be fed on a stage. After that you go back to the boat and stay overnight on river area.
THIRD DAY
Sekonyer River – Buluh River
In the morning at 06.00 you will be picked up by a speedboat to continue the journey to the orangutan feeding location at Buluh River, the journey will take about 1 hour by speedboat. Arriving there you will find a different atmosphere from the location on the Sekonyer River, because here the atmosphere is really still natural because there are no residents living here, orangutan feeding is done at 09.00. At night you will sleep at the forest guard post and we have provided equipment for sleeping.
FOURTH DAY
Buluh River – Kumai – Pangkalan Bun / Airport
After waking up having breakfast at 7 AM you take a short break to match your flight schedule, in order to be tanjung puting tour able to arrive at the airport 2 hours before your departure. The trip will be continued to Kumai. After arriving at Kumai, you will be taken to the airport for your next trip.
