Local band Real Estate might not have the easiest name to navigate on Google (although you'll find some intriguing New Jersey house listings when looking for tour dates), but the savvy rockers are becoming far easier to find,Solo Headphones thanks to their accomplished sophomore album, Days, out now on Domino Records.
The Big Pink, the synth-rock duo of Robbie Furze and Milo Codell, have revealed details of their sophomore release, Future This, due out on Spiderman Beats by Dre4AD on January 16 in the UK and January 17 in the States. The album's 10 tracks include "Hit The Ground (Superman)," which samples Laurie Anderson's influential 1981 single "O Superman."
It is. In general people respond postively more often than not. People who are going to gigs and who are actually that interested in music, they pick up on things. We’ve toured with White Lies in the UK which was probably one of the stranger combinations, just because they were really massive shows of 3-5000 people and most of the fan base was 13 to 18. So it was a younger crowd, but they definitely seemed to pick up on stuff and find [things] Spiderman Beats by Dr Drethey liked about the music.
