O Canada!

A golden day for Canada.

It was purely an exhilarating day cheering the hockey team and witnessing them receive their gold medals.



I thought that the closing ceremony was well cheesy. Well done on reinforcing the cliches and stereotypes.



But it is bitter sweet to see it end.

When will the honking end? The town must return to normalcy. The people need to sleep. Calm down people. Let's get back to how things were.

The beginning of an era?

I'm not at all sure about writing blogs. It seems like a lofty goal to set for myself seeing as I can't even keep diaries. My lack of success is not due to the shortage of attempts to start keeping a journal. I've tried many times but sadly failed just as many times.












So, how is it different this time around? I'm not sure. But, I figure that I should get accustomed to writing my thoughts down in a coherent fashion without being hesitant to start a sentence. I need to feel less reluctant to put together a sentence, turn that into a paragraph, and then, end up with a substantial piece of writing. I should practice it now because in due time I need to produce a phone book of a thesis.












Here's an attempt anyway.






I'm not sure how often I'll manage to write something here.






Whether this will contain anything of any substance is largely questionable.






But at the very least, I will hold my breath and dive into the mysteries of blogging.
