garden

Here is my garden.

It's really small and now we have it in Japanese style.

There are some tall buildings in our neighborhood.

So it's kind of difficult to get enough sun lights.

However, we're trying to keep some plants.

The typical Japanese garden does not have

many flowers. I'm thinking about getting some

goldfishes in our little pond.

I LOVE GREENS

It is now a beautiful time of the new green leaves in Kyoto.

Right after those cherry blossom are gone, new green leaves come

at once. May be I love those green leaves more than the flowers!

How about you?

We enjoyed cherry blossom very much this year.

Come to see those beautiful cherry blossoms next year!!

A famous cherry tree

It's getting warmer and wamer here in Kyoto. There are so many places that you can enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms around Kyoto. Did you know that cherry blossom is the Japan's national flower?

Talking about the history of this this cherry tree. It is the secound cherry tree of this Maruyama-park, where this tree's been planed. This park opened in 1886. There was the first cherry tree in this park lived for over 200 years then died in 1947. And that first cherry tree is the mother tree of this secound one.

This is one of my favorite cherry tree in Kyoto. It has no flowers yet. But I'll let you know when it comes out by pictures!

scone

yummy!

half of them are scone with cheese.

I'd not baked scone since when I was
in high school in U.S. so it would be
almost 10 years...wow!

Inspite of that, they were so delicious.

plum blossom

It's getting a little warmer here in Kyoto. Beautiful plum blossom. This is I bought for girl's day for our room. So pretty! When the plum blossom is over, it's time for the cherry blossom. It's spring!

a snow day

what a beautiful snow is that!

It's a Ginkaku-ji temple
covered with snow.

Ginkaku-ji temple is one of
the most famous temples in
Kyoto or may be in Japan.

I would love to take you guys there. Even without the snow,it's so old and beautiful.
