The win over the Dream helped the Mystics truncate backtoback losses to the Chicago Sky and New York Liberty. The Mystics is 137 so far this season, and it is the franchise's best year since women started playing professionally in the US in 1997.

The ingenuity of Crystal Langhorne, the creativity of Lindsay Harding, the experience of Monique Curry, the ferociousness of Nakia Sanford in the paint, and the versatility of Katie Smith combine to make the Mystics an excellent team.

The starters' stellar efforts are augmented by the commitment of Matee Ajavon, the courage of Marissa Coleman, and the neversaydie attitude of Chasity Melvin from the bench to give the Mystics a winning formula on any given day.

On top of the players astounding attitude and brilliant work ethic, head coach Julie Plank is determined to motivate her players to give over 100 percent Nike Air Jordan 6 in every game. So far, Plank has done just that.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Mystics applied their winning formula against the equally formidable Dream team. Langhorne paced the Mystics with a game high 24 points and 16 rebounds; she was precise in her shooting and adept at rebounding the ball.

Crystal Langhorne Wins PlayeroftheWeek Honor

Earlier in the week, Langhorne became the third Mystic ever to win player of the week honors after former Mystics, Chamique Holdsclaw and Alana Beard, who is currently nursing an ankle injury.

In a game Nike Air Jordan 28 XX8 against Seattle, Langhorne scored a career high 31 points and returned 14 rebounds to win the playeroftheweek honor. Langhorne is averaging 17.2 points and 10 rebounds per game this season.

The Mystics have 14 more games in the regular season, and with only half a game behind the Eastern Conference leader, Indiana Fever, the players are alltoofamiliar with the, sometimes, inverse proportionality tableau between the regular season and the post season.

Katie Smith Counsels Her Colleagues

"This is far from over. Playing well in the regular season does not mean a thing because anything can happen in the playoffs. We have to stay focused and continue to play well in the regular season and throughout the post season. As it is, our current position does not call for celebration," stated Smith after Nike Air Jordan 12 the win over the Dream.

In fact, if the Mystics continue to play well, the probability of playing in the WNBA final for the first time in franchise history would be high. They are, currently 72 at home. In this sense, clinching home court advantage with a fine regular season performance could consequently enhance their chances of their shot at the WNBA title.

The Mystics' next game will also be at home against Indiana Saturday, July 24. On July 27, they will be on the road versus Connecticut. They round out the month of July with consecutive games versus New York on the road and Indiana at home on July 29 and July 30 respectively.

The Mystics will play 10 games in August with a home game against Tulsa on Aug.1 and a road game versus Atlanta on Aug. 3. On Aug. 6, they will battle New York, and two days later, they will confront Connecticut on Aug. 8, with both games coming off on the road. A return encounter between the two sides is scheduled for Aug. 10 in Washington, DC.

The Mystics will play their subsequent two games at home against Minnesota on Aug. 13 and Seattle on Aug. 15. On Aug. 17, they will be in San Antonio and return to the Verizon Center to host New York on Aug. 20. They will play their final game against Atlanta on Aug. 22 on the road in a regular season finale.
