We are told that for forty years in the wilderness the shoes and clothes of the Israelites miraculously never wore out. The verses used to substantiate this teaching are, "Thy raiment waxed not 샌즈카지노 old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell these forty years". (Deut. 8:4)

™

"And I have led you forty years in the wilderness. Your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot." (Deut. 29:5)

"Yea, forty years didst thou sustain them in the wilderness; so that they "lacked nothing"; their clothes waxed not old and their feet swelled not." (Neh. 9:21)

Were their clothes and shoes supernaturally preserved? Or is this just one more account of the Lord supplying all their needs, no matter what the need?

Guess what else I found out about their supplies in the wilderness? We find that the Israelites had plenty of clothes and changes of garments when they left Egypt. (Ex. 12:34, 35) They had their own clothes upon their shoulders and even borrowed raiment from the Egyptians.

We know that the sheep, goats, oxen and cattle would provide a constant supply of materials for the making of shoes and clothes.

We also know that they had craftsmen skilled in all manner of workmanship. They were able to fashion the gold, silver, brass and wood items that made up the temple. They made the veil in the temple. They were rather accomplished brick makers and bricklayers at their last employment in Egypt. There were engravers in stone who made the priests' breastplate. They were living in tents so there had to be tentmakers.

Their weaving and clothes making skills were apparent when they were commanded by the Lord to make the priests' garments. (Ex. 28:1-8) "And thou shalt make holy garments"... And these are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre and a girdle... fine twined linen." (Ex. 28:15) They could even make britches of linen. (Ex. 28:42) They had all the supplies and craftsmanship to make new clothes.

The Lord gave them guidelines forbidding the mixture of various materials such as wool and linen together. (Deut. 22:11) Why would the Lord instruct them on how to make their clothes if they were not making their clothes?

Of course there were no J.C. Penny or K-mart stores to purchase new clothes at the time so most people had to rely on their own craftsmanship. We cannot rule out the possibility of trade with the Moabites and other nomadic tribes either. They even had spoils of war. (Deut. 2:34-36)

What about the children who were born and grew to adulthood during the forty year journey? Were infants born with clothing and shoes? Did the outfits that fit the infants magically expand as the child matured? Did the shoes also miraculously stretch as the feet grew? Or were there always enough supplies to make replacements?

We must also think of damage to the clothing like an accidental rip or tear. Was the material wear proof? Didn't anybody wear a hole in the elbow or knee area of their garment for forty years? Did every sandal hold up and never break a strap?

Nehemiah states that for the forty years in the wilderness, they lack nothing. (Neh. 9:21) It seems quite obvious that the Lord God of Israel never let their garments grow old upon them. Nor did He let their feet become swollen and bruised from worn out shoes. He provided for all their needs by supplying all the necessary materials in abundance. It says for forty years they lacked nothing! (Deut. 2:7)

Everything in life has its place. The importance of place can be seen in the creative work of God in the beginning. Places where made before people were created. The Earth was first designed and the Garden of Eden planted ever before man was created. Your placement in life is very important as it determines a lot of things in your life. People relate with one another base on where they are placed.Your positioning will certainly determine your placement. This is true as you see it applicable in every facet of life.

Where you are positioned in life matters a lot. If you are wrongly positioned, you will be wrongly placed even nature teaches us that. The Sun, Moon and Stars are all unique in the way each performs, because they are rightly positioned and properly placed. If you place a square peg in a round hole it definitely will not fit in. If in need of water and you open the tap to allow water flow, but position your container wrongly, you will get nothing.

To start with, you first must be positioned in God to be rightly placed in life. Anything that stands outside God is out of place.Acts17:26 " For in Him we live and move and have our being".Colossians2:10a "In Him we are complete".It reveals that divine positioning and placement is in God. Position yourself in God and you will rightly placed in life.

Everyone wants to be highly placed, how many have really consider where they are positioned? There is a place for every man in destiny, because in life; there is no vacuum. Your success, progress and association is dependent on your positioning. Birds of a feather flock together. You must understand that your position in life changed from the moment you gave your life to God. Everything about you totally changed. The scripture teaches that every man is equal in the sight of God. If that be the case, why are some highly placed than others? I know someone might be saying its hard work of course. This is not true in itself, because we can see people who put in more effort to their and still do not rank up to those who do less. The truth is that your positioning determines your place and you can not be rightly and well positioned in life except in God.
