2011年女子ワールドカップ
なんと、なでしこJAPANが決勝まで進みました！！
頑張っているチームに心打たれ決勝試合の応援に行きたいと思い、ネットを見たら、なんとまだチケットがあるではないか！！もちろん安くはなかったが(€150でした)熱血サッカーの国で日本優勝のチャンスがあるなら行かなくてはならないと思い、買ってしまいました！！
てなわけで、金の無いワタクシは一番安く行けるSchönes Wochende Ticket(€39で土曜か日曜一日中ドイツの鈍行列車が乗り放題な切符)を使って列車に揺られる事9時間、乗り換え3回でなんとかフランクフルトへやってきました。ドイツ鉄道の列車は遅刻の常習犯との噂なため、予定していた乗り継ぎ列車乗れなかったら困るなぁと心配していたもの、大した遅刻は無く無事にたどり着けました。9時間は長かったけど、運良く晴れていたのでドイツの田舎が見れ何気に楽しい旅だったな。
到着先のフランクフルトは初めてドイツに来た時以来だな…と言っても朝の6時とかですぐにベルリン行きの電車に乗っちゃったから全然しない観光はせんかったけど。(￣▽￣) フランクフルトはビジネスの町で観光とかオモシロイトコは無いと噂だが、実際はどうだろうか？？？

2011 Women's World Cup
Nadeshiko Japan has made it to the Finals!! Unbelievable!!
I hadn't given too much thought about the World Cup this year, but watching a few of their games changed all that. Especially their game against Germany! That was quite a tense one!
Anyhow, after watching Team Japan make win their way up to the Finals, I knew I had to see if I could get tickets to watch the game live. I had half expected all the tickets to be gone (Deutschland is Soccerland afterall) but there were still a few tickets left so I took the chance to get it. They weren't cheap (€150 each...) but it's one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to see a live World Cup match (in Soccerland) and possibly have Japan win!!!
But!! Still being poor as ever, I couldn't splurge on the other parts of the trip. The cheapest way to get to Frankfurt from Berlin was with the Schönes Wochenede Ticket, which, for €39, let's you take any non-express trains in Germany for one day of the weekend. And after 9 hours and 3 train transfers, I've made it to Frankfurt!! Deutsche Bahn (the German rail company) is apparently notorious for late trains so I was worried I'd miss my connections, but everything went very smoothly (although the last train ran late due to some kinda protest at Gießen). Good job DB! Nine hours was a long time, but we had good weather so it wad nice to watch the German rural landscape passing by from the train.
I haven't been to Frankfurt since I first got to Germany. And that was only for an hour or so while I waited for my train to Berlin at 6AM so I don't think I can count that... I've heard Frankfurt is big for business, but other than that, it's pretty bland...we'll see how it is tomorrow.

2011 Frauen Weltmeisterschaft
Nadeshiko Japan spielt nächste in der Finale!!
Normalerweise bin ich kein Fußball-Fan, aber ich muss sagen die Japanerin haben sehr gut gespielt! Die Spiele gegen Deutschland war ganz toll aber ich dachte sie nich gewinnen können wurde. :b Schließlich sind die Deutsche Fussballspieler/innen eine die Beste in der Welt!
Also, wenn Japan in der Finale spielt, wollte ich ins Stadion gehen und die Japanerin anfeuern. Nach der Halb-Finale habe ich im Internet gesucht, eine Karte für die Finale zu kaufen. Glücklicherweise gab es noch ein Paar Karten bei FIFA, also habe ich eine sofort gekauft! Die war teuer (€150) aber wahrscheinlich werde ich niemals eine Live-Fußballspiel (in Deutschland) und eine die Japan spielt, ansehen können!
Auf jeden Fall, ich bin arm und obwohl ich viel Geld für die Karte bezahlt habe, konnte ich nicht in Luxus nach Frankfurt fahren. Deshalb habe ich die Schönes Wochenede Ticket gekauft. Mit der kann man für einen Tag am Wochenende irgendwo in Deutschland mit irgendeinem Zug (außer schnelle Züge wie ICE oder IC) fahren. So, nach 9 Stunden und 3 umsteigen bin ich endlich in Frankfurt angekommen!! Neun Stunden war schlimm, aber das Wetter war schön und ich konnte die ländliche Deutschland ansehen, also alles gut!
Seit Oktober bin ich nicht in Frankfurt gewesen, und das war nur 1 Stunde. Der Flugzeug aus Kanada fliegt nur nach Frankfurt und ich musste den Zug nach Berlin nehmen. Ich habe oft gehört, dass Frankfurt ganz langweilig ist. Ich werde morgen entdecken ob dass Wahl ist!
