As you may remember, several weeks ago we posted about the new shelter manager Lt Frank Macomber. He decided that the dogs in the San Bernardino shelter do not need blankets or beds even though it is freezing in San Bernardino. As a result, the dogs have been sleeping on hard concrete - literally freezing. Last night, this ☝🏽 dog paid the ultimate price with her life. This goes against everything the shelter is supposed to stand for. Just the word “shelter” means the animals should be safe and protected until they’re able to find their forever homes. This man needs to resign from his position. The animals deserve better. @mayorjvaldivia you need to do your job!!!! Call! Email! Repost!
