The cast of this reality show make no qualms about their promiscuous behavior and sharing their inappropriate actions with the viewers of their show. While this comment had no place at the VMA's, it wasn't as if there wasn't fuel to spark it. These young adults have been controversial from the beginning of "Jersey Shore," with their over indulgence in alcohol and "hookups."
The show's built around the cast getting drunk and doing all types of inappropriate things that's considered entertainment for the sake of ratings. They go clubbing and pickup dates. Strangers have shared their beds and even a few of the cast have slept with each other. A breeding ground for STD"s maybe, but not as an announcement on the VMA's.
No one laughed, it was embarrassing for both the "Jersey Shore" cast and Kevin Hart. It was one of those moments that was awkward and hung in the air for a few seconds that felt more like a few minutes. Hopefully Hart gets his stuff proofread if he's ever asked to say a few words on an awards show again.
