This post is not much about AKB48, but rather, more about my support for AKB48.
2months ago on this date: 25th May 07, I searched on Youtube for AKB48 out of curiousity after noticing that people around me are getting into AKB48. I found Seifuku ga jama wo suru, watched, and got attracted. That was also the day I learnt about who Oshima Yuko was.
1month ago on this date: 25th June 07 I finally gave up trying to maintain my interest in Hello! Project I declared & announced that AKB48 would be my favorite group, Oshima Yuko would be my favorite idol girl.
And today: 25th July 07 I'm still an AKB48 fan. My idol-fan love for Yuko is still increasing I've become more involved as a fan I'm now planning birthday projects, contributing to the English fans by translating small little stuffs & gathering news on this blog.
And on this date next month: 25th August 07 What would happen?
Eventhough it has only been such a short period, I wouldn't want to lose to other experienced fans I want to show my overwhelming support for AKB48 too!!!
Kojima Haruna blogged in the evening about borrowing a DVD from Yuko. "The World of Golden Eggs" that's the anime Yuko & Acchan are crazy about.. ..and spreading the love to everyone currently.
It happened the night when Yuko & Kojiharu shared the same hotel room recently. Acchan came over and they watched the DVD. Kojiharu found it amusing ヾ(＠°▽°＠)ﾉ

And Yuko said it was the first time she wanted to collect the entire set of DVDs with her own money!
Yuko spreaded the love for this anime to other members too. Currently, these are the members into the anime: Acchan, Sayaka, Sae, Kojiharu & Norochan.
Especially when Yuko chats with Acchan about this anime, they're in their own world...

If you haven't heard of this yet, I am doing a Birthday Project for Oshima Yuko's 19th birthday this year (17 October 07).
What I would do is to collect birthday wishes written on hard copy cards from all over the world, paste them in an album and send it to AKB48's P.O. box, most probably the week before her actual birthday.
And what I need would be messages from everyone!
Yeah, do not e-mail/PM me what you wanna say but write it down on a paper-card, and snail-mail to me the actual card so I could paste it in the album!
Paper-card's regulation: 1) Maximum size would be 18cm by 12cm (7inches by 5inches) 2) Avoid using dark colors as your base color as my album is in black 3) Only write on one side, and state your country on the other. 4) Both landscape & portrait is fine
Messages regulation: 1) Please only write in Japanese or English 2) Nothing offensive & rude 3) Avoid mentioning other members (e.g. "I LOVE ACCHAN" is a straight NO.) 4) Pictures, drawings, stickers are all allowed. But make sure it wouldn't stick the page together. 5) E-mail addresses, residential addresses & phone numbers are allowed too. But don't expect her to respond
Once you get everything ready, you can PM me on forums I'm on (my nickname is cRaZY MiKi, on JPM & s48), or e-mail to kyuuketsuki_miki -at- hotmail.com for my residential address to send your card to.
The deadline for message cards is 15 August 2007
I set the deadline pretty early so I can organize message cards into countries, and try to translate every card I can that is in English, and also to decorate the album
I guess this is the first time international fans are working together to send a birthday message album to an AKB48 girl. Eventhough it has been done in Japan, we are most probably the first from the world!!.. So please support this project!
The people over at scramble-egg has finally updated us with lots of photographs for "Boku no Taiyou" stage!! Every song!!!
Looks like we have lots of photographs for today, w00t.
Now we can take a slow & close look at all costumes.
Of course, the one that I'm most attracted to is the costumes for "Boku to Juliet to Jetcoaster"
...eventhough I've seen it before already haha
But I still love it a lot..it's really cool-looking.
Those uniforms worn during the first few songs reminded me of Team K 2nd Stage "Seishun Girls", haha
Am I the only one that thinks that M08 "Itoshisa no Defense" costume reminds me of "Junai no Crescendo" costumes?
In M09 "Himawari" they wore jeans!! I love jeans, hehe
The staffs at the staff blog (haha, obviously..) has updated their blog with lots of AKB48 photographs taken during the handshake events!!
