In season 2, The Reichenbach Fall episode, Sherlock encountered Jim Moriarty once again. Moriarty framed Sherlock by planted thoughts to everyone's head that Sherlock killed those people in the episode and therefore, Sherlock became a fugitive with Watson.

Suddenly, they met Jim who pretended to be someone else to once again framed Sherlock again. Making Watson doubted him for who he truly is, a detective or a murderer.

Sherlock always knew that he capable of killing. He does have the mind of sociopath. But no, he keeps solving murders with his crazy yet brilliant thoughts. He never cares if people don't believe in him, but he did care when Watson doubting him, convincing him with his own ways that he. is. not. a. murderer.

And then, he sacrificed himself by jumping off from on top of the roof to protect Watson, Mrs. Hudson, and Lestrade. He died as a sociopath to public eyes.

I guess that was the first time Sherlock cries when he called Watson from the roof to say goodbye. I guess that was the first time Watson feels a great loss until he came back to his psychiatrist again.

Right now, I'm Sherlock in real life...
