July august 2008 mummies Hi everyone, well ash is
taking a few more steps now, it looks like he is trying to run, he starts off
slow and gets faster until he falls over its quuite funny to watch.It was
jaydens 10th birthday on saturday, i cant believe i have a 10 year old where
have the years gone?I made a pirate ship cake for him which i was quite proud of
it turned out pretty well, and we are going to sea world on the weekend instead
of having a party.Well my dh is falling apart he had now been off work for 9
months with his wrist, while he has been off he though he would see about his
ankle which has been playing up for ages(Another work injury).He got the results
of his mri last week and was told he needs a major reconstruction, the only
problem is he has to wait until his wrist has been operated on and healed before
he can get his ankle done because he will be on crutches for 8-10 weeks.I think
i might send him to live with his mum until he has recovered from everything
nice wife i am.Ladies using mcn's do your bubs get nappy rash?Ash has got a bit

fresh break from the hip and neck well got the results from my u/s and i have
an"Irratable bowell" -All in all everything else is fine, so just have to go on
some medication and go back next week to see how everything is.Well betta go as

usually can avoid nappy rash unless a)There is a teething poo that i haven't
caught quickly enough and it has burned his bum or b)It's a really wet nappy and
i have left it on for too long.Sometimes they get a rash in the transition from
one type to another(Cloth to disposible, or disposible to cloth)Until they get
used to it.The best thing to do is try(Very hard True Religion

at this age! )To give him a little nappy free time so it can dry
out, and then rub in a good cream.Zinc is great but can clog up the nappies over
time, however, in my opinion it is better to use it and get the rash cleared coz
you can always do a strip wash if need be(Wash nappies once, then do another hot
wash with bicarb soda and put white vinegar into the fabric softener part).M has
a little rash at the moment coz i left his nappy on for too long so this morning
i gave him a half hour nappy free and have been rubbing in 'moo goo' which is my
latest cure all skin cream seems to be getting better.Hth fee-Ouch, irritible
bowell, that sucks.I have that too and it really played up when i was pregnant,
sometimes i thought i was in labour but it was just bowell cramps!Malorian-I
think i would have a heart attack if i put my foot in my shoes and hit sharp
plastic little soldiers-I would immediately think i had been bitten by a spider
or something!Anyway, i better go get some sleep.Night Morning girls today is our
3rd wedding anniversary(We have been together for 8 years)So i am feeling all
sentimental dh and i talked about our marriage last night and have agreed it has
been a very happy year for us.Follows instructions really well and is very
helpful around the house tidying and cleaning just like mummy suzie, hope all
goes well with your wrist.I had an op on my wrist in may 2007 and have to get
the other done but i have no idea how you'd look after a baby after an op-Was 6
weeks in a half cast fee, ibs sounds terrible, i hope you get it sorted with the
medication.Hope milica is better *hugs* cassie, we don't get nappy rash except
like the other girls with teething.Although i don't really know if it is nappy
rash as all he gets is a light red bot bot which goes back to normal after a
bath and nappy free time which he has alot of.He has never had more than

walk down to the library for story time.Wasn't the greatest day cos there was
another woman who brough her 2 kids and she didn't even try and control them
they were getting up and disrupting the story, taking stuff off the story
reader, messing up every toy they could find, the little girl took zoe's paper
hand puppet cat off her and they seemed very nauighty kids.And she didn't even
try and keep them at least a little bit under control.I think she had her
brother with her, and he wasn't much better.They were let run riot and i was
being polite and cleaned up the mess but they let them go and ruin it and trow
everything all over the library again!It was so bad, the librarian said she is
going to pack all the toya away during story time from now on so kids dont get
into them-But these kids were out of control even without including the toy
saga.And i thought zoe throwing herself on the floor screaming was bad!Anyway,
cos we are a bit short on $$$ atm i am walking up the street when i have to/can
do.Its good cos gives me a bit of exercise, some fresh air and time with the
girls without the stress of housework.Of course, then zoe just wants me to buy
her lollies and drinks, but i try and avoid it by taking her to the park.Ha
something funny happened today too.After we got home, i gave my pram a wash
outside(Was pretty filthy, hasn't been cleaned since i bought it, but looks like
new now)And then got rhia inside for lunch-Tinned spaghetti.All was good, she
ate about 80% of it-Then stopped wanting anymore, started rubbing her eyes and
rolling her head softly to the side with that faraway look in her eyes-She was
going off to sleep!So i got her out and gave her some booby to help her off-Well
she was so tired she only had 1 side0-I couldn't get her to have the other side,
she was completely asleep!Anyway, i dont know if i mentioned, but i got given a
rosella last week.Fil hit it in his car, then picked it up-Its fine, but its
lost all its tail feathers so cant fly properly.I got a big 2nd hand cockatoo
cage from a tender shed, and we are probably going to let it go when it's tail
feathers grow back.My cockatiel loves it though, its got someone else to tweet
to! (Even though"Rosie"As we've called him is really wild)Oh and had an appt
with centrelink yesterday, applied for parenting payment, cos all our savings
have run out.I could take the forms back right now, only i have to get a rent
certificate signed by my landlord.Long story but, the owner of the house lives
in newcastle, so her mother was acting landlord cos she lives nearby.They havent
renewed our lease which expired in may, but we are long term tenants so i think
they are fine with it, i mean we lodged a bond anyway when we moved in here.So,
since i need the rent cert signed to prove i am paying x amount of rent, i call
the mother.We havent seen or heard from either of them since before last
christmas!She tells me she is now not living here but lives in brisbane!And i
dont have the owners phone number, so she says she'll email her and i can email
the form, she can sign it and email it back to me.Havent recieved anything yet-I
dont even have their email addy but i gave them mine-And its annoying, because
the sooner i get the forms back the sooner i get paid!Plus, cos centrelink
doesn't have the rent cert, my ftb has been cut back cos they've cut off rent
assisstance!I did call in august to apply for pp but cos we thought dh had a new
job, i didn't complete it.But the girl yesterday gave me a form to write a
statement as to why i didn't complete the first application and to prove we have
had no income since then, and they will backpay me from now til when i first
applied-The 7th if august1 so that would be a great help too, since i have a
$600 power bill and no $$$ to pay it atm anyway, sorry to dump it all on you.Dh
is driving his own truck, and they have just put him on the books this week so
hopefully he will start getting paid!They said it will be only like $500 per
week, which is crap, but centrelink will still pay me pp until his pay goes over
$700 per week.And they have just got a new truck-So their 'company' now has 2
trucks(2nd was only delivered yesterday, needs new tyres etc.Before can start
working)So hopefully they will get more work which will mean pay rise!Ok better

all doing well.Lucas isnt far off walking.As for me i hopefully only have one
blood test left which is next week.I will be so glad when i dont have to go for

my white cells still arent right, so am on more antibiotics for the rest of this
week and then hopefully next week it will all be over and i wont get any more
infections.Well, on another note i am getting clucky as all hell, but know i
have to wait another 12 months as i want to go back to army reserves and want to
know what is going on with bens job.Ben may need to get a knee operation as his
knee is playing up big time he has major issues trying to walk at times.Well i

generally anything before 7.00am is too early, bring on daylight saving its too
