Ries has released a couple full-length albums — 2005's "For You Only" and 2007's "Without a Bird" — and two EPs, 2008's "Country EP" with folk singer Ana?s Mitchell and the 2012 "Laurel Lake EP. "When you are dealing with that many layers and that many different engineers and everyone else's time frames, it is tough to record it in analog.
