A huge fan of the movie Grosse Pointe Blank, Harms loves stories
with assassins where even the heroes aren't squeaky clean — "How could
you be if you killed people in cold blood for a living?" he says — and
all that blurry morality is fun for him as a writer. He had the idea to
form a story out of a hitman's enemies finding out an enemy's getting
married and making it a bloody affair, "but it seemed a little too
one-note, so I decided to complicate the story by forming it around a
love triangle," Harms says. For Pun, what really defined Shotgun Wedding
was figuring out who Mike Stone was and making it clear that, even
though he's a contract killer, he also has a moral compass.
"Mike doesn't like killing people,Algorithms are also helping people predict trends, key programmer
events
and behaviors by analyzing an almost incomprehensible amount of data."
the artist says. "Over the years, though, he's managed to justify it in
his head as a basic math problem: If he kills two guys who were planning
on killing thousands, then the ends justifies the means."Adds Harms:
"But it's not the same for Chloe. That difference is what drives the
core of this story.I had a chance to dig a little deeper with Lisa
