２．日本語と英語での説明はわかりやすかったですか？ 台湾語ではありませんでしたが、理解することはできましたか？ Although I don't understand Japanese and my English isn't great, I can still understand. 日本語はわからず、英語も得意ではありませんが、それでも理解することができました。 お互いに英語は母国語ではありませんが、アートなので手元を見ながらの作画とテキストもあるので（英語）理解しやすいですよね。もしかしたらシンプルな英語での説明がかえって良かったのかもしれませんね。

This is an introduction to the Erasing Light Art Basic Course,
a method of expressing light by erasing.
I have created many artworks with the hope of expressing soft, translucent light using pastels.
Through drawing Flower of Crystal Art,
I came to fully enjoy expressing the world of light and flowers.
For a long time, I had wanted to explore designs beyond flowers.
Through much trial and experimentation,
I eventually arrived at a new expression:
Erasing Light Art — creating light by erasing.
This Basic Course was created as a shared foundation
to help expand artistic expression in the future.
Erasing Light Art is a technique in which
you first apply pastel color across the entire paper,
then carve out light using erasers and soft erasers.
By erasing:
Light emerges
Depth is created
A gentle sense of dimension appears
This technique can be applied to figures, flowers, buildings, and various motifs.
Within the Flower of Crystal Art Academy,
it is positioned as one of the fundamental techniques for learning how to express light.
Flowers are learned through Flower of Crystal Art
Non-floral subjects are learned through Erasing Light Art
We have prepared Academy-official pre-cut stencils in advance.
By using these finely cut official stencils,
even delicate and detailed designs can be handled with ease.

Using pre-cut stencils also ensures that
the final artwork remains refined and beautiful.
When working with pastels, erasing is an essential technique,
yet many people say it feels difficult.

About the Erasing Light Art Certification Course
The Erasing Light Art Basic Course is a certification course
designed to help you correctly understand and continuously apply this technique.
It is not a course focused solely on completing a single artwork.
You will learn:
The order in which to erase
What to leave and what to erase
The basic process: coloring with pastels → erasing to carve out light
How to use regular erasers vs. kneaded erasers
Stable and reproducible methods
Understanding “subtraction” instead of “addition” in color expression
This course uses official motifs to teach both
the thinking process and technique.
While figures are used as teaching material in this course,
the skills learned here form a foundation
that can be applied to many other motifs in the future.
